This was an extremely lucky random find by us while traveling in Mexico. We had not heard of the House of Legends from anyone before, but stumbled across it while walking to the beach in Mazatlan. We promptly checked out of our other place and into tthis one. Unfortunately could not stay longer, as we were heading up to the... more

We love Mexico and we love B&Bs and this is one of the very nicest B&Bs ever! We had a weeks stay at Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay with a timeshare exchange. That left only 4 nights for Casa de Leyendas. We would have swapped that in a heart beat and stayed for a full week at Casa de Leyendas. We... more

We ended up booking a last minute trip to Mazatlan and were very fortunate that there was room at Casa De Leyendas. We really enjoyed every minute of our stay! It was unbelievable how friendly everyone was. Glen and Sharon had to leave for a number of days during our stay, but that ended up being no "problemo" as Joe... more

When we arrived, we just stopped in hoping to get a room, but the property was booked. Glen and Sharon not only helped us find a very nice place nearby, they served us a couple cold beers while we waited for the owner of the other property to return and show us the place. Now that is going above and... more

My wife & I met friends for a stay at CdL. This was our second trip to the Casa, and it was even more enjoyable than last year. The owners went well out of their way to accommodate us on several occasions, the property is always spotless, and the location and amenities make for a very restful stay in Maz.... more

We love B&Bs and would put Casa de Leyendas at the top of the list. The genuine personal attention with regard to the area, sights, interaction with other guests was top notch! Glen and Sharon go the extra mile with service you normally ony find in a five star facility. we were only able to stay two nights as "Casa"... more

This stay of one week was so enjoyable and so very different from our usual Mexican beach resorts!! Glen and Sharon were very hospitable and attended to their guests as though they were family. We loved the aura of this B&B, and our room was beautifully decorated, cozy and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed mixing with the locals and doing activities... more

The previous reviews of Casa de Leyendas (House of Legends) are not just legends; they are right on. I will not repeat what is in them nor what you can find on their excellent website. What I can say is that this magnificently decorated almost 9000 square foot house is much more than a bed and breakfast. It is a... more

We just returned home to Atlanta after a 5-night stay with Sharon & Glenn Sorrie. All the other reviews are correct--The Sorries treat you like family rather than as guests. From the moment you enter their remarkably restored home, you know this is a special place. Honor Bar, honor snacks, hot and cold breakfasts, top-floor area for sunning and watching... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Casa de Leyendas. This is a very beautifully decorated, airy and spacious accommodation. There are several areas in the Casa in which to sit and relax, and even a rooftop area where one can view the wonderful sunsets. The hosts, Sharon and Glenn Sorrie are very pleasant and helpful.Their staff are great as well.... more
