You cannot go wrong spending a week or month with Capt. Moe and Dorothy. Great, caring people, comfortable and well appointed posada, amazing and fresh cuisine, all within a 5 minute stroll to the beach or the Gold Zone. Moe and Dorothy know Mazatlan and are more than willing to make sure you enjoy everything. They are wonderful hosts who... more

Captain Moe and Dorthy were wonderful host. We felt like long lost relative the whole time. The location was ideal for our first visit. Our host gave us great tips on how to navigate the bus and Pulmonias systems and if you lucky the captain will give you a private tour of the town. more

We use Captain Moe’s B&B as a peaceful stop during our annual summer pilgrimage between Baja and central Mexico. It is amazing that such a quiet peaceful place exists in the heart of the busy Golden Zone just a few blocks from the beach. Dorothy and Moe are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating hosts and treat you as if you were... more

We are two couples who were travelling on motorcycles en route to Rincon De Guayabitos and stayed at this B & B for two nights on the way down in December, and again for 2 nights on the way back in March. One of our concerns was the safety of our bikes but we didn't have to worry about that... more

Staying with Dorothy and Moe is like having your own guide for the city of Mazatlan. They answered all questions about the city, and knew the newest and best restaurants. The rooms were cute, clean and well appointed... and had great beds, something you don't find in Mexico. The setting made one feel like one was at home in a... more

We stayed with you briefly the night of April 2nd - we had to call late to get in because my brother-in-law neglected to get the key earlier that day, as we had planned. After we left your place we ended up staying in a hell hole of a place called the Oceano Palace. I really liked your little place... more

My sister and I went to Mazatlan for a wedding. Captain Moe's' location was great for us since we had to go all over Mazatlan for the wedding and sight seeing events. Thanks to Dorothy, not only was I able to keep from paying too much for a pulmonia and taxi but I was able to ride the bus. Thank... more

Dorothy & Moe have a fabulous B&B in the Golden Zone! Those who typically prefer the smaller, more personal establishments of B&Bs will find this lives up to your standards. Rooms are clean, comfortable and air conditioned. Small refrigerators are stocked with bottled water. Both hot & cold filtered water can be found in the courtyard where breakfast is served... more

My boyfriend and I took our first trip to Mazatlan and split our time between Captain Moe's in the Golden Zone and Casa de Leyendas in the Centro Historico. We really loved both B&Bs. Moe and Dorothy are so friendly, and we felt like we were coming home whenever we returned from time out on the town. It was quiet... more

We stayed for one night at the bed and breakfast. We were welcomed with a warm smile and a recommendation for a great restaurant. During breakfast we ate more food than we should have while hearing about stories from other guest and Moe. The room felt like home while keeping its own charm. Great place to stay! more
