We stayed at the Freeman for a 2 week period. This hotel is really marvellous given that it is 71 years old. The whole property is spotless and incredibly well maintained. Every staff member that we had a chance to interact with was really friendly and helpful. Many of them allowed us to practice our limited Spanish with them. Absolutely... More

Had a room in the upper floor, the room was clean and comfortable. The views from the pool were amazing. Staff is courteous and friendly. Free breakfast, good assortments of food. Close to everything in city.

The building is around 60 years old; the elevator is still in its original shape. The view from the rooftop is amazing. The hotel is a few blocks away from downtown, tourist shopping areas reached only by bus or taxi (pulmonía). Breakfast was included and tasty. The only negative aspect was parking space.

If you're in Old Town Mazatlan and need a drink with an outstanding view, this is the place. Make your way up to the 9th floor by elevator, then walk up another two stories to the rooftop patio/pool area, score a table under the palapa and order a drink. Bring your camera because this is probably one of the best... More

The façade and lobby are quite nice but once you take the loud, groaning elevator up to the room... the experience became almost nightmarish. The bedside light was not plugged in and when I did it shorted out. The air conditioner was so loud we had to turn it off to be able to sleep. Excellent breakfast and nice staff... More

For the price and free breakfast you can't beat this facility. The staff is great and I will continue to stay here. The lady bartender on the 10th floor is excellent. The best Margarita I ever had! The restaurant makes very good shrimp dishes. You have to try them.

We stayed there for 2 nights and were not disappointed. Great view of the ocean from any of the front side guestrooms. Historic hotel built in 1944 with great ambiance and right next to the old town with all its restaurants and shopping. Rooms are clean and bright and the aircon works great! Beds a little hard. The bar on... More

We stay at this hotel every time we drive through Mazatlan. The views are great as we always get a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the malecon and ocean. It's a short walk to the square with many restaurants nearby. The buffet breakfast is excellent and the servers are very attentive.
