From the moment we arrived, the service and facilities were beyond disappointing. It's all glitz, with no substance. No sooner than we had unpacked then the front desk called us and ordered us to move into a different room. We wanted to stay in the junior suite we had reserved four months earlier, but they refused. (I regret not telling... More

My wife and I and our two teenagers stayed at the PB-EB for four days between Christmas and New Years. This resort may actually be more visually spectacular in person than its website portrays it to be. The sprawling grounds and pool areas are as breathtaking as the best resorts in Hawaii. To address some of the negatives that other... More

I I upgraded to a Presedential suite and the conditions in the room were not at its best. As soon as one walked into the room they were overwhelmed with a horrible smell. I called the front desk to send someone over and they told us the room smelled odd because it had not been in use for a while.... More

The hotel directs itself to selling timeshares and they want you to go through the sales pitch as soon as possible because if they waited no one would purchase a unit. The grounds are very nice, but if you look closely at the building construction it is very poorly built. There is absolutely nothing to do except spend time in... More

This resort has to have the best swimming pool in Mexico and I've been to alot of them. They are in the process of building another pool on the south side of the property and from what they say it should be done in the spring. They are also going to add another dining option down there called the Bistro.... More

We just returned from a 4 night stay at Emerald Bay. Overall we really enjoyed the resort. The grounds are beautiful and the food and drinks are very reasonably priced and the multiple 2 for 1 happy hours throughout the day are very nice as well. There are some issues that we had, however, and suggestions for improvement. 1. The... More

Last year we stayed at PB Rose in Cabo and although we had a fantastic time we talked about PBEB to other travelers our whole vacation. That's why once again we spent 2 glorious weeks at PBEB in beautiful Mazatlan. It just doesn't get any better than PBEB in my opinion. When you pull into the resort the word that... More

They said it was a mistake. Believe me we didn't sleep the rest of the night. This is a five star hotel??? They... More

Stayed for 2 weeks in May. It was beautiful. Staff was so accomodating, view from balcony was awesome. We became addictied to the painting of ceramics offered by the resort. The staff "touched" up our amature work and made it look like we were professionals. It was a little inconvenient riding the shuttle to the Golden Zone, but we'd go... More
