I must say that after reading some other reviews about PB EB, I was a bit worried but as it turned out, worried for nothing. This place was so nice. Aside from the minor check in glitches, we were totally impressed with this resort. I swam at the beach and had no issues with the rocks that were mentioned somewhere.... more

We returned home on 10/9/2009 after 5 nights in the resort......it is absolutely a glorious setting. Our room was junior suite and very comfortable. Nice little kitchen area and a small deli/store on the grounds so one can have a light breakfast in your room as we did on several mornings....one way to save on calories while on a trip!... more

We just returned and as far as we are concerned there is no where else to stay in Mazatlan. This resort is so beautiful with excellent service that it is a real letdown to return home. Certainly quality all the way as are all Pueblo Bonitos which we have stayed or visited. Asked for a room by the main pool and because still in "slow season" were able to trade our Jr. Suite at PB Sunset Beach in Cabo for a poolside Senior Suite. The grounds were very tropical, there were Iguanas everywhere. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was awesome, and the guys that serviced the pool area were ready to please at any moment. The resort was amazing. We arranged the roundtrip motor coach transportation to/from the airport (well worth the $20/per person) for the 30 minute air-conditioned drive to the resort. What a place! It's just lovely: gorgeous landscaping, amazing swimming pools, lots of activities and the nicest staff we've ever encountered. Every unit faces the ocean and the sunset views are fantastic. The food is decent or better and every day they have drink specials and happy hour specials. This resort was the most gorgeous resort that I've ever visited. The infinity pools, swim out bars, pristine beach- it was everything I could have asked for. The rooms were generous and immaculate. Room service was a little expensive. I would recommend taking the Time Share presentation. It was low pressure and you receive $200 credit towards your food/bar bill.... more
