My wife and I spent the first week of June at Pueblo Bonito, and we absolutely loved almost everything about the place, but we probably won't return. We live in landlocked Colorado, and look forward to a great Mexican beach vacation annually, sunning on the beach and swimming in the ocean. Over the years, I've adopted a maxim: The more... More

We own at PB Sunset Beach and this is the first time we traveled to the Mazatlan Emerald Bay location. From the moment we arrived at Mazatlan, it was so much easier and less stressful than the Cabo Airport experience. We booked the transportation through the resort and there was a staff member from Pueblo Bonito INSIDE the airport holding... More

“Mazatlan is beautiful, colonial and SAFE - use your head” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW Our family has been going to Mazatlan for 8 years now and we have also stayed in our Villa. I tire of some of the negative comments I see from time to time on Safety and "drug cartel" in Mazatlan. REALLY... More

Our stay at the Resort was amazing! Pueblo Bonita at Emerald Bay is a beautiful resort. Very clean. All of the staff was extremely friendly, efficient & helpful. Especially Erick Medina, he was able to help us book a spa package that was very affordable. He was very informative and patiently helped us choose the perfect spa package. I would... More

Stayed here in May 2014 with our 3 young kids...all 3 under 8 years old. We used a timeshare trade and could have gone elsewhere. We understood that there was a kids club where kids could play, so we could relax a couple hours a few days. We show up and they day.....sorry, we closed the kids club! At our... More

I`ve been at Emerald bay around six times and everytime i left the city, i am wishing to stay longer, it is definately the best hotel in Mazatlan city, has an adults pool, a really quiet pool called bistro pool and the greatest pool with music and activities leaded by the funniest activities coordinator i ever met, Edwardo, he is... We are time share owners at this resort. We were there in April of this year. What we noticed between April and June is a drastic reduction in service personnel. There are far fewer waiters around the pool. Is this to reduce staff and/or reduce the number of orders that can be placed by visitors who have purchased an all-inclusive.... More

This was my first trip to Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay. After check-in, the timeshare representative did ask me if I would be interested in listening to her presentation. I told her that I wasn't interested and was never bothered again. My room was beautiful. I love to 2 closets. Also, the bathroom has a make-up mirror. (This is a great... More

Too hot to sit on the balcony and not enough shade around the pool. This time of year, the resort was full of Mexican families and pools were crowded and noisy. Food at Emerald Bay mediocre (meal plan); we preferred eating at Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan.

This is a beautiful resort and quite elegant, yet not pretentious. It felt very safe, and I was able to completely relax. We did the all-inclusive and found the food quite good and the waiters around the pool very attentive and generous. On our first morning at breakfast at The Bistro, after ordering our huevos rancheros (Pueblo Bonito style- yum!)... More
