We spent two weeks in Mazatlan, enjoying the hustle and bustle and noise but loved our last five days spent relaxing in peace and quiet in this gorgeous haven. We read books under the palapas watching the waves gently roll in, swam in the warm waters of the ocean and floated undisturbed in the beautiful pool. The whole place was... More

A place to unwind and get back to true relaxation without the distractions of hundreds of guests and loud music 24 hours a day. The location is breathtaking and the rooms are unique with great décor, clean as can be, and private. Breakfast is served outside in the morning on a small credenza. Our hosts then brought out additional items... More

We travelled with our 2 year old and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The property is lovely, right on the beach and Ray and Linda are the perfect hosts. Leanne's cafe next door has great food and some nights even has live music. If you are looking for a quiet beachside retreat look no further.

Absolutely Perfect... I found this B&B quite by accident. What a wonderful find!! Ray and Linda Wright the proprietors were the perfect hosts. The B&B has 4 rooms to choose from, all unique and comfortable. We stayed in the "Jardin" room. It has a private patio, and the most comfortable bed I think that I have ever slept on. The... More

Our first trip to Mexico was made all the more memorable by our fantastic stay at El Sol La Vida. Nothing was too much trouble for Ray and Linda and they continually ensured that we were having a fantastic time. The accommodation is first class, and the breakfasts delightful with a seemingly endless supply of coffee. They have the perfect... More

My brother and I stumbled upon this place on a hike from our hotel nearby. Ray and Linda were kind enough to offer drinks, chips, and even a ride back to our hotel. Before departing, we toured this wonderful B&B and were impressed by the great accommodations! We were so impressed, that we are planning a return visit to this... More

My husband and I stayed at El Sol La Vida for three nights on our honeymoon trip through Mexico and had an excellent time! We wanted to stay at a place that was romantic, comfortable, but not too Club Med-like or a huge resort, and El Sol La Vida was PERFECT! Linda and Ray are so kind, warm, and hospitable,... More

Wife and I just returned from one week here and it was outstanding in every way. Had just the best time with Ray, Linda and Mia. Would be difficult to list everything we did but just about all of it was made possible by the hosts and their great recommendations. Restaurants, activities, day-trips and the little-known local spots - Ray... More

We are glad we decompressed at this top quality B&B north of Mazatlan's Golden Zone. Ray and Linda are so welcoming and as soon as you arrive they fill you in on options, how to get around, even planning day trips with you and other guests if you are so inclined. We didn't really miss having a car. Ray even... More
