I booked a room at the Castilla and had heard they were upgrading people to the El Morro because of the repairs on the Castilla pool. Well sure as heck upon check in they told me they were putting me in a 1 bedroom suite in El Morro. Sweet! That's about a $400.00 perk. I was on the 15th floor... more

The El Cid El Moro Resort is a beautiful resort and the staff were very accommodating to us. We had originally booked a lower floor which was not acceptable after we got there. The staff very graciously moved us to a higher floor which was great. As many reviews have stated, the balconies are scary with their low open railings.... more

My wife and I just completed our 10th vacation with the El Moro, El Cid. This trip as well as the trips in the past were great. Since Jose Velasco has taken over as room manager, our trips have been PERFECT. The staff seems friendlier and and smile more. We plan on coming back next year for another PERFECT vacation.... more

We stayed at the El Moro Tower for a week and had a great time. My in-laws have points with El Cid so the 5 of us stayed in a 2 bedroom. The rooms were very large, clean and had a great view. I liked the big windows that opened up to the beach. Yes there were no screens in... more

We just returned from the El Cid El Moro resort and had a great time. The service we received from the hotel staff was fantastic and not just good service for Mexico either. When we arrived, we upgraded from a room in the tower to a larger room by the North pool for $20/ night and it was well worth... more

We stayed in the El Moro tower March 23-30 and had a great week. We made our reservation through Wyndham Vacation Club. We reserved a 2-bedroom suite for us and our 3 DDs. Our room was actually 3 adjoining rooms: one which looked like a hotel room with 2 double beds, 1 with a convertible bed and kitchen and 1... more

We stayed at the El Moro from March 10-17. We usually stay at the La Marina but they were booked so we settled uneasily for the El Moro. We arrived eary at 10:30am driving in from another part of Mexico. We got our room right away which was really nice. We had room 2119-20 which had a view of south,... more

We stayed at El Moro with Interval International Condo Exchange for 2 weeks. When we arrived they let us look at the room and we didn't like the location so they let us change to another room the following day . We had room 2224 which had no balcony but a marvelous view of the waterfront. Karla and her manager... more

This all started when we landed in Mazatlan when we were serached in customs (great fun) 2. We were supposed to be met by someone from the hotel and no one was there to met us, so we caught a taxi. 3. At the El Cid Marina (originally booked there) they had no reservation of us being there. I even... more
