Worry Free vacations had a cheap package deal from Minneapolis for 1084 airfare/hotel total taxes included (554 per person) over Canadian spring break at the Azteca Inn. After checking previous reviews, I felt that I couldn't pass up that deal and was pretty sure the hotel would fit my needs. And it did! The rooms are very basic, but super... more

Checked in to find AC was not operating. It was under repair. Asked if there was another hotel they could recomend for us and our dog. I was told there where no other hotels available. Hotel offered a refund but we had no place to go. Noise levels are 85 decibels all the time. At night someone tried to brake... more

This hotel is a gem of the Golden Zone in Matazlan. I have stayed At the Azteca on and off for the last 15 years. Jan and Feb of 2007 for 6 weeks and Jan-Mar of 2008 for 9 weeks. Hotel is close to restaruants, shopping and the beach. Rooms are small but clean and resonably priced. What more could... more

I have been staying at Azteca Inn 2 (to)4 mos. a year for more than 20 years and find that it is far above the rest for service, clean , hospitable, central location and the best mexican breakfast in town (ask any local). I was in the hospital for 7 days in 2006 , The Hotel owners sent someone daily... more

Spent 16 days at the Azteca Inn in Mazatlan in Feb-March of 2008. It was just what I had hoped it would be. Simple, very clean accomodations. Staff was beyond helpful. Didn't have a single bad experience in 16 days. There was a woman at the hotel who was raging about the noise, but, hmmm, it seemed quieter than most... more

We stayed at the Azteca Inn for one night the middle of December and we had two connecting rooms. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with the exception of the beds which were a little hard but they are pretty much hard everywhere in Mexico. The pool was clean but a little cold in the late afternoon but the... more

My fiance and I stayed at Azteca the end of March. It was a nice little hotel for the price. Just as everyone is saying. Very close to the beach and many restaurants which made it very convenient. The rooms were clean but nothing special. Yet, what can you expect for around $60 a night! We like to travel on... more

My sister and I stayed at Azteca Inn in the beginning if January 2007. It was our second time staying there and we absolutely love it. It is across the street from the beach, but for the price you can't beat it. We don't spend a lot of time in our rooms so we are not to picky, but the... more

My cousin and I stayed three nights here in March. Great location and facilities. The rooms, pool, and hot tub were clean. The onsite restaurant was inexpensive and good. It served breakfast, lunch and dinner. The sports bar was fun. Easy beach access was across the street. This is an outstanding value in the middle of the Golden Zone. This... more
