Another wonderful vacation at a VI resort in Mexico. We spent 3 weeks with another couple in a gorgeous 2 bedroom suite on the 5th floor, which gave us amazing sunset views every night. The kitchen was fairly well stocked, although from a previous experience we did take our own garlic press! The staff are wonderful and responsive. On two... More

We made a reservation for dinner at 6:30 pm because we wanted to sit at a specific table we picked out for us. We wanted the table by the open window with a beach view. We walked the hostess over to the spot & said, "this table, por favor" and she nodded her head and said no problem. So we... More

Just the thought of leaving here tomorrow fills me with sorrow. Torres Mazatlan is a wonderful resort filled with kind, caring, knowledgeable people (staff and other guests). I prefer an authentic visit to a generic hotel and this does not disappoint. The grounds are well cared for, the pool is beautiful, and I did not find any issue with beach... More

I've stayed at several places in Mazatlan over the years, and this is pretty typical. Somewhat rough on the edges if you're expecting American level standards, but good by Mazatlan standards. Spacious rooms and a good location--some of the hotels are very far north and make access to the rest of the city cumbersome. The maintenance could have been better--my... More

The people at Torres Mazatlan are what made our stay. The staff is great, very friendly, and worked very hard to accommodate us. The resort is a little run down, clean, but not a 4 star resort. They have had a lot of damage to the beach and the front of the property from the hurricane. The entire time we... More

All the staff was friendly, but the front desk was not helpful. We found ants in the kitchen & livingroom. They sent a maintenance person with a can of raid. We ended up going to Walmart & buying ant traps. Another "guest" tried to break in the sliding glass door(ground floor unit) at 3am. he was staying next door &... More

Torres Mazatlan is a beautiful resort. We had a penthouse so it was a nice setup with our own bbq and jacuzzi on a deck that overlooked the pool and beach. July was hot and humid. Our 2 biggest complaints are bugs and flooding. We stopped counting the large black beetles we killed each morning when we got to 100.... More

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Loved the restaurant and staff there...When we arrived the hotel had just been informed that they had been reported to have had Legionnaires Disease so they were taking every precaution to prevent further contamination, Even offered to move guests to another facility if they wished.... They brought in bottled water to each room and held... More

Thank you for your kind words we will pass your comments on to the staff. Just to clarify for yourself and future guests, that despite the presence of very low but safe levels of legionella bacteria in 2013, there has never been Legionnaires Disease at TM and that all water storage and plumbing faculties have been upgraded to the high... As other reviewers have previously stated this resort is just like being at home. Our particular room had the best view ever of both the beach and the pool area. The atmosphere was relaxed and the people were very friendly. The resort isn't what I would consider a 5 star BUT it was very charming and clean with the typical... More
