Bought our vacation through Cheaptickets and I had stayed there in 1985, so wanted to visit again. My husband and I had not been to Mexico together, we got a great deal and ventured on down there. The Inn was as I had remembered it, beautiful grounds, great staff (spoke English, so made it very nice). Extemely accomodating and met... more

This was our first visit to The Inn on an RCI trade. First impression was that the grounds are meticulously maintained and very beautiful. Unfortunately our room was not. It obviously was not one of the renovated ones and was very shabby and dark. When we mentioned our dissatisfaction with our room to an employee, she totally ignored us. We... more

the new tower is beautiful, and up-to-date, but the lower floors have a LOT of street noise. people put towels on the pool chairs, and don't show up until noon, so there are not a lot of chairs available. staff is very friendly, and helpful; some little things go wrong (refrig didn't work one day, they replaced it; no coffee... more

Update to my 2006 review of the Inn at Mazatlan. Last year I called the old girl shabby, but this year showed the old girl had some work done. We just returned from our week in December and to our delight, the shabby Inca building, which needed renovating is much nicer now. The kitchens have been renovated since we were... more

We stayed a week at The Inn. We found the rooms to be nice, and our maid service was great (blankets and sheets smelled freshly laundered every day) The hotel has a good activities department and a wonderfull pool. **Note on the pool: people do put their personals out in the morning and return to other activities leaving very few... more

We "discovered" The Inn at Mantazlan by walking past looking for a nice restaurant for dinner. Instead we found a very talented entertainer and made a friend...and ate a delicious meal too. So my review is of the ambiance at Papagalo's Restaurant and Lounge, not the hotel itself. I do intend to investigate the hotel more for my next visit.... more

As a longtime visitor and owner to The Inn at Mazatlan, we have become incresingly dissapointed in the quality of the hotel. As others have mentioned, the new tower is beautiful and a cornerstone of the resorts timeshare presentations. But staying in the oldest "Maya" tower or the "Inca" is less than desirable. The Maya tower is in the process... more

We enjoyed our 2 week stay Dec 12-26/05 in a 1 bdrm suite in the Tower. 1st room had ants and they tried for 3 days to kill them with spray, finally we moved. They had not problem doing this for us. Street noise is a reality and to be expected when you want a main drag location combined with... more

Old, noisy, dirty, filled with screaming children and parents who don't seem to care, the Inn at Mazatlan was a horrid experience. The restaurant is overrated and over priced, and the rooms are in desperate need of rehab. Changing suites didn't help drown out the street noise, nor the untrimmed palm trees that block the ocean views. Unless you get... more

We just returned from a week-long stay. The hotel is older, but clean and well maintained. The staff were very accomodating. We had a few small problems with the room. The coffee maker leaked, the toaster didn't work, the drain on the shower stopped up and the fold out couch wouldn't go back in so they replaced the couch. The... more
