We are RCI members, and had a "Master Suite." We were there a week (husband and I). We love Mazatlan and visit there 1-2 times per year for many years. Having said that, here is a review of our stay: (1) Martin is a great doorman, and the singing Esther always cleaning the lobby was also wonderful. View to ocean... more

My girlfriends and I have been staying at Las Flores for years. Last year a friend and I purchased a 5 year timeshare there. This was the first year we stayed in it. I only wish we could have stayed longer than one week. We always have a great time in Mazatlan and at Las Flores. We even request our... more

First, the good. Hotel staff was very friendly, and housekeeping kept everything spotless. The Studio room we had was very spacious. Second, the bad. Hotel room was terribly dim, outdated, and you could not view the ocean on the verandah while seated. Lastly, the ugly. The beds. If you can comfortably sleep in a tent on the ground, you can... more

Los Flores has a great location. It is in the Gold Zone. We had an ocean view and lovely balcony. The maid service was good and overall people were friendly. The only disappointing part of the trip was the "vulture" crew for selling timeshares. L. told us that we had to say we were single to get tickets to the... more

Well my sons and I returned yesterday from Las Flores booked through Signature travel so I thought it might be prudent to let you know about some of the issues we faced. First even though my reservation for a room stated that there would be a pull out couch there was none and inquiring did nothing. The beds themselves are... more

I stayed at Las FLores for the third time this year. I am always happy to return to my second home....The staff is what makes this place so special. The bar and lobby staff always are happy to see you return. The only problem I encountered this year was the cold weather...Not a problem of the hotel. It was cold... more

First the good news, we got an ocean view room. The housekeeper tried her best to make sure that we have enough towel/soap supply. The location is very good - accessible to everything - bus/taxi/restaurants. Now the bad news - the bathroom stinks, the drain does not work well, there are ants in the sink - almost daily, there are... more

We stayed @ Las Flores Feb-Mar 2008. We had not been to Mazatlan before( just Puerto Vallarta and Mayan Riviera) We went with another couple we have travelled with before who have been to Mazatlan many times and had last stayed @ Las Flores in 1997. They were quite excited to hear the hotel had undergone renovations as they liked... more

The staff was unfriendly, the rooms were ugly, the beds were hard and the timeshare specialists were very pushy. The lounge chairs by the pool were broken. The water in the shower was yellow and the elevator dirty. The room was clean but very dated. The price was right due to the location. The view from the balcony was beautiful.... more

I'll try to categorize this to make it easy for you to scan through this. I do love the location of this hotel, and have stayed there many times, but I think my disappointment this year may make me pick a different hotel next year. So sad, because I was becoming a "regular" with a bit of loyalty. sigh.... I... more
