The Mexican staff are great as would be expected. The hotel facilities were badly designed to start with and have not been well maintained since. I found this hotel to be (yes) old, but, very clean. I wouldn't, in fact, change anything about the charm of the place. The newly updated rooms are attractive but don't have the same charm. I have stayed at many of the hotels on the golden zone. The Las Flores may not be a new hotel, but its clean and the staff are very courteous.. helpful in every way.
