We've never had a bad stay here. The staff has always responded promptly to any little problem. They are friendly, the suites comfortable and furnished with everything we need to make our own meals just like home. Our maid Juanita (6th floor) is a real sweetie! We will be back again next year!

We do not stay at this Hotel however we go the restaurant along the ocean called Los Adobes. Juan our waiter is the best. Food is average but the service and the view are spectacular. If you want ocean side dinning then you must try.

This family owned resort makes you feel at home with sincerity and warmth from virtually all staff. Lorena at the front desk, Cuquis & Georgina, Yolanda, Juan Carlos, Santos and bartenders Roman & Luis & Hector all go above and beyond to ensure your comfort & happiness. Great comfy beds. Rooms furnished with beautiful, hand-crafted local treasures. We get sad... More

We just returned from a 2 week stay at the Costa de Oro. We have stayed here before and found it just as we remembered. Check in was quick and easy and on the second day we were offered a room in the beach front tower. Nice room on the 8th floor. It was an end unit so we really... More

We stay here by choice..usually book through Sky auction as we will not get suckered into a timeshare. Employees are great..especially Poncho at the concierge desk and Lucy who waitresses poolside. The rooms do need upgrading but is still a good value. A bonus this trip was no hounding timeshare folks trying to get us to go to their presentation.... More

We just got back from a week in Mazatlan, staying at the Costa De Oro. This hotel/condo was a wonderful place to stay. The buildings were in keeping with the feel of Mexico and the pool was really nice. Everyone was so friendly there and the Miami Vice drinks by the pool, that Pancho served, were very good. Maid service... More

Costa de Oro Beach Hotel is an older hotel with lots of Mexican charm. The pool and grounds are impeccably maintained. The entrance off of the street is rather unimpressive yet a gated circular driveway relates back to an earlier majestic time. Check in was quick and easy. You are given pool towel cards, room keys, and you can have... More

I've stayed at the Costa de Oro 9 times and loved every one of my stays. The staff here is Awesome! Happy hours are great too, 1pm at the pool and 6pm in Adobe's bar. There are good restaurants close by too if you want to go else where for a meal. Gus Gus, Marys, Social, F.I.S.H., and El Chilito... More

I stayed their a week to mucho people during the summer. The Hotel is old and they don't maintain it well the a/c worked but the temperature thermostat didn't work so we would freeze and if you turn it off it will be so hot and suffocated. I would not stay there again.
