This was our 3rd stay here in the past year or so and we have enjoyed the staff who is friendly, on the spot when needed and very accommodating. I didn't mind the construction the past 2 times as we spend only evenings in the hotel. This last trip with updated rooms was fantastic. Best breakfast buffet and pizza I... More

The kitchenettes that I've seen on the ocean side have been on the south side of the hotel in the shadow of an old abandoned hotel. Room was old, safe did not work, fridge is rusted out and needs to be painted (they actually wanted to paint it while I was in the room), A.C. very noisy and spits cold... More

We are in Mazatlan right now and were walking along the beach and I went up to check if they had any rooms and the price for this weekend. Since I asked this question in English the person called over another employee to speak English. Without even checking the computer I was informed there were no rooms for Fri available.... More

If your plans are to have a great time in Mazatlan, to party at night and expect to relax in the day, please stay away from this hotel, i'm actually writing this review while in the hotel trying to sleep, since very early in the morning (before 8 a.m) a super loud guy starts to sing in the hotel at... General aspect of the property is quite good as it looks recently renewed, nevertheless, like they say, the devil is in the details. Our room looked clean and kind of a too basic for our taste. A couple of beds, a couple of chairs, a little table, and old tv, and a chest of 6 drawers. Beds are terrible old,... More

First of all I would like to say that the staff was exceptional in every way. That said we were very disappointed, music around the pool area and loud bands on the beach continued everyday and well into the night. If you want to stay in a hotel that is relaxing do NOT stay at Oceano Palace...it is a hotel... More

I was there in September, the hotel has some renovations that make us noise, dirt. The smell it wasn't good either. It had humidity in the hotel. The pool was good, the beach is good also. It´s near the golden area.

We had a room that looked out over the ocean. The pool was fantastic! You walk right down the steps onto the beach. They have a swim up bar in the pool. We spent 2 weeks here and we will definitely be returning.

We spent the last 2 nights of our Mexican vacation at this beachfront hotel. It is literally situated in the Hotel zone (Zona Dorada) near the end of it, but its there. Currently on one side there is construction taking place to expand the property and the other side is a closed former resort hotel. The parking out front is... More

I am here right now. The hotel has a large bar, big restaurant. Buffet or menu. I had Sushi it was good. The staff is amazing and friendly. I am here for my kid's cheerleading competition. We are a total of 38 people. We could not be accepted into our room because the "leader" was not with us. We had... More
