Whenever me & my family go to Mazatlan we enjoy staying here at La Siesta. It's in the nice quiet part of Mazatlan, so if you're trying to get away from all the noise of the tourists then this is the place for you. I love it because it's located right across from the beach & the older part of... More

Functional, this place just does the trick. We were kindly allowed to check in at 8am, which is good if you arrive early after an o/n bus trip. Clean, friendly and good price. There were two things that put us off...first off, at 8am after an obviously tiring trip you will be presented with an album for a trip to... More

I liked the quiet courtyard and pool, the staff at the front were very friendly. I would stay there again, great view of the ocean, traffic didn't bother us much we were on 3rd floor. The coffe shop a block down called looney bean is awsome, and having the store right there is great as well .

A "tired" hotel in a fantastic location. Has a small pool, above an excellent restaurant (The Shrimp Bucket), across the street from the malecon and within walking distance of centro and many things to see..

I have stayed at this hotel over many decades. It is overlooking Olas Altos beach, the malacon and within the Historic District which has wonderful restaurants and historic charm. It is a value hotel, clean with good service. It may be noisy depending on the events along the malacon but that is true of most Mexican hotels. This is not... More

Are you looking for an inexpensive hotel within walking distance to Old Town Mazatlan, and the Olas Altes beach across the street from the entrance then book LaSiesta Hotel. Our stay for two nights adequately served our needs. If you are expecting Ritz Carlton type rooms, then go elsewhere. Our room had two double beds, and a bathroom. The air... More

i stayed here for a week. i didn't have any problems with noise from neighbors, the walls are nice and thick unlike american hotels. the hotel is very clean and well maintained, yes it's an older hotel but didn't feel dingy, very charming and not cookie cutter like the tall hotel down the street.the shower pressure was adequate and the... We stayed here two nights, mainly because we'd been traveling and hadn't accessed wifi to choose any other option. The good...balcony overlooking the Malecon, good A/C, clean room, helpful staff, hot water and small pool, and easy access to Old Town buildings. The not so good....noisy with kids running around till 11:30pm, spotty wifi. The building has been there since... More

Great location, across the street from Olas Altes beach andw very close to Plaza Machado and Centro Historico. Rooms were definitely clean (although tired looking). Staff friendly. Main issue is that on the weekend, Olas Altes is a noisy nightime party zone. Even the hotel was noisy (all rooms open onto a central courtyard, which either had noisy families (who... More
