Very nicely located, across the street from the ocean, and a nice small beach in old town Mazatlan. It also has a decent restaurant(shrimp bucket), on site, as well as a travel agency. Staff are very nice, and I especially would like to commend Ivan Medina Perez, who works the front desk. He was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel... More

.....or so the plaque on the wall says. An atmospheric building with a retro 1950s feel which I hope won't be sanitised when the hotel is due for a makeover. My room was enormous, comfortable and clean. Definitely worth a return visit if and when I get back to Mazatlán. You can't, and shouldn't, miss El Shrimp Bucket next door.... More

This is an older Hotel. It is very charming. The room was fresh and clean. The ocean view was amazing. There are not a lot of frills, however, the staff, comfort and price were well worth it. Located right on the beach of old Mazatlan. Easy access to eveything you need. Great stay !

We enjoyed our stay. Near old town, near the beach, many great restaurants close, night life is close. I didn't give it 5 stars because the beds/pillows aren't that great, and you do hear some noise from the street. Overall great value ..we will be back.

Only reason we stayed here is for Carnival (book real early elsewhere in the historic district). Two nights was more than enough. Climb terrible stairs with your luggage, dirty & old looking floors, beds are like sleeping on that floor, our room faced the courtyard so on only window the curtains stayed closed, two towels, a face cloth, a bar... I paid about $40/night. Credit cards accepted. Room was large and a bit outdated. A/C. Wonderful, friendly staff. Shower pressure could have been better. Wifi. Great restaurant onsite with 10% guest discount. Travel agency onsite. Convenience store onsite. Right across the street from the malecon and the ocean. Located in the Centro Historico, which I think is far superior to... More

Whenever me & my family go to Mazatlan we enjoy staying here at La Siesta. It's in the nice quiet part of Mazatlan, so if you're trying to get away from all the noise of the tourists then this is the place for you. I love it because it's located right across from the beach & the older part of... More

Functional, this place just does the trick. We were kindly allowed to check in at 8am, which is good if you arrive early after an o/n bus trip. Clean, friendly and good price. There were two things that put us off...first off, at 8am after an obviously tiring trip you will be presented with an album for a trip to... More
