We stayed at the Crowne plaza from 29Dec2015-03Jan2016. We had very bad luck, because the weather was terrible, and we could only enjoy 2hrs of sun, all the other time, there was a lot of wind, and it was very cloudy. There was a lot of wind, and the reception is not covered. We reserved the honeymoon suite (not because... More

I've been to many places in Mexico over the years and, while our overall experience in Mazatlan was great, this is one of the worst budget hotels I've stayed at. Hands down. From the grounds to the "restaurant" service (minus one excellent waiter), to the very low quality massages with deceptive rates and duration (take other reviewer's advice and support... More

Crowne Plaza is conveniently located away from the hustle and bustle but still very accessible to all areas when a dinner off property is desired. My guest room (207) was large, comfortable, well appointed and very clean with a nice Jacuzzi and great view of the Pacific. Staff is experienced and attentive delivering services in a friendly and professional way.... More

This hotel it's not a 3-4 or 5 * , it's bad, the rooms are so cold and ugly end hummed, in Internet appeared a 100 us rate, no pay more than 60 us. It's shame in so beautiful place. Sorry. The access to the rooms, the doors the keys are very bad and ugly. No my kind of hotel,... More

We recently were hotel guests at Crown Plaza it is without a doubt a spectacular oceanfront location. It is quiet and relaxing away from noise of the Golden Zone and main drag. I was told they have a new General Manager who previously was at Inn at Mazatlan for about 4 years. I did stay at Inn a few years... More

I was excited when I saw the 4 diamond award, when we arrived. However, nothing at the hotel deserves this price... Restaurants are not good, service is just ok, there are no beach beds, the pool is really cold, the room's phone didn't work and the bathroom smelled bad. Nevertheless, the rooms are nice.

Dear Edbuge Your comments are truly appreciated by everyone of our staff members, since we always try to honor and follow up all of them in order to correct and improve what needs to be done differently, our beach facilities are very changeable since the tides and the currents do not allow us to enjoy much of a sandy area,... A motel 6 with an IHG or Crowne Plaza badge. Poorly managed and very poor maintenance. Don't let the pictures on the website fool you. I'm not sure how it retains certification as an IHG property. On the other hand this maybe the best in town. Just don't expect international standards. As my Mexican business counter part stated: only in... More

Stayed here two nights for a congress. Location is a bit far from town, but not necessarily a bad thing if you want R&R. Pool is very nice and a stone's throw from the beach. This is an amazing, truly ocean front hotel that will give you the best views in Mazatlan and I know this because we checked out 5 other top hotels and none had this kind of unobtrusive view.
