My husband is a timeshare owner for over 15 years and we return to Mazatlan and Royal Villas every other year. This year in particularly disturbing as so many little things were off. Upon inventory of our kitchen utensils, we found there was no mixing bowl and in previous years, there was a bowl. When the person came up she... More

Oct 14-21, 2014 Royal Villas Mazatlan We stayed in an ocean front 2 bedroom Tulum unit. Fully equipped. We have been to this resort numerous times so knew exactly what to expect. Units are spacious. Resort is directly on beach. Nice hard packed beach. Free deer island boat ride and picnic included in All Inclusive. We roamed the Diamond Zone... More

When I read the reviews of the Royal Villas I was apprehensive but know how people can be. I travel all the time and have been to Mexico 12 times ! I don't go there to stay in a cookie cutter resort. I go to relax and enjoy the way the people of Mexico deeply appreciate us as tourists. At... More

We stayed at Royal Villas because our home timeshare location ( PB Emerald Bay) was full for the week we wanted to go. We went with another couple and stayed in the 2 bedroom suites that face the ocean and the views are amazing from the balconies...which are the biggest balconies I have ever saw anywhere in a resort setting...and... I would first like to start my review by saying THANK YOU to Anna Marie from the housekeeping staff. We checked out of our room (808) and were downstairs about 20 minutes waiting for our friend to take us to the airport. As I was just getting in their car, Anna Marie came running up with my Kindle Fire that... More

Just spent two weeks at the Royal Villas in Mazatlan. Had a great stay. David and his staff are wonderful. The hotel has a really good restaurant (ribs are great), great pool with poolside bar, spa, gym, and washer/dryer availability. Close to the Megga grocery store. Walk-in medical clinic a block away, which we had to use and got incredible... More

The staff are very in tune to your needs and are very helpful. The pool is clean and plesant and the open air dining area is enjoyable. The rooms are keep very clean and all the bedding has been very comfortable. The elevators are slow, but you can see the outside action from them

We stayed here during Christmas week, family of 8, including an infant. Our reservation was for 3 bedrooms, and upon being shown the rooms, we only had 2 bedrooms and 2 living rooms. The staff brought a bed up and converted one of the living rooms into a bedroom, along with a crib. The elevator was extremely slow, as only... More

We have stayed at the Royal Villas Resort twice when visiting Mazatlan. The rooms are very clean and the housekeeping service is excellent. We started every day by eating breakfast at the hotel which is open air with a beautiful view of the ocean. The breakfast is always good and once a week (Sunday?) they have a wonderful buffet instead... More
