We stayed here for part of our Honeymoon in October 2011 and we REALLY enjoyed it, the hotel was lovely and peaceful with stunning views. The roof top pool was pleasantly cool in comparison to the heat and humidity of the town which made it an excellent place to relax. All the staff in the hotel were very friendly and... More

This small boutique hotel is a gem. The rooms look like they could be featured in Architectural Digest. Great location, and a staff this is friendly and efficient. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. As I was leaving Mazatlan I discovered that I had left my cell phone in my hotel room. When I called... More

Dearest Daniel, Thank you for the wonderful note you left for us regarding your stay at Casa Lucila! The fact that you think our rooms are fit for Architectural Digest humbles us so thank you for the compliment. I'm thrilled you were able to get your phone back the same day as being without a phone is... well, I'm sure... More

This boutique hotel is absolutely gorgeous, located at the tip of the bay in Old Mazatlan. Rich with history, the hotel was remodeled several years ago and includes all of the luxuries you would expect in a modern Boston, NY or LA hotel. From lighting, to imported marble in the lobby to the serene sound of the waterfall, everything was... More

In a nutshell, HEAVEN!!! We were treated with such great customer service by everyone employed there. The owners were fantastic people. You felt so comfortable in the hotel whether sleeping in those wonderful air conditioned rooms with the best beds and super showers, to dipping in the chill pool upstairs on the roof. The food and drinks there in the... More

This hotel is really a great place to enjoy Mexico. It is a thoroughly modern first rate European style hotel. The owners were extremely accomodating and took time to talk to us at lenght. The rooms were large, the bathrooms very nice, and the swimming pool on the rooftop was a perfect place to cool off in the hot Mazatlan... More

We just returned from one of the best vacations we have ever had and it was in large part to this amazing hotel! Every single staff member from the reception desk, to the restaurant staff, housekeeping, even the night security/operations guys were top notch! Staff: excellent, friendly, helpful, multiple ice requests, local tequila tasting, recommendations, monument explanations. Building: excellent, clean, 'hip' or 'chic' furnishings, fixtures and building, awesome view. Safe in room, walk in shower without a door/curtain and a window of the bay view. Another reviewer said to stay on the 2nd floor which was fine for me, my wife wanted the 3rd... More

This is an amazing place. I would say it is one of the absolute best places I have ever stayed in my life. It was an old, old building that was renovated by the owners and they did an incredible job. The setting - near the old part of Mazatlan up a hill and right across from the ocean, is... More

To untiligettobali, Thank you for the great review! We appreciate your honesty and have made some changes to the lighting in the Alma Room since you have last visited.
