I was extremely disappointed. We upgraded for 30 dollars more a nite for a ocean view room. We were put in a room whose air conditioning evaporator leaked. We complained the same day and were ingnored. Then I had to complain 2x more, before the same young man at front desk agreed to come up and look. He then agreed... More

Dearest Javier, I'm sadden to hear that your experience with us in Mazatlan was so awful that you felt the need to give us a 1 star review, and if you were able to, a no star review. I'd like to address some of your concerns that you listed that in my opinion does not warrant the kind of scathing... More

We stayed 3 nights in Lucy. A spacious, quiet room off the courtyard. The bathroom was delightfully large! The infinity pool was fantastic and we spent hours in it waiting for the sunset. I had the pleasure to meet Conchita and she told me the lovely story of how all 8 rooms are named after her sisters and the hotel... More

We were feeling adventuresome for this part of our trip and decided to try something different from the beach hotels in the Zona Dorada. Nestled into a steep hillside overlooking the north end of the Malecon where the incoming waves break on rocks is the Casa Lucinda Boutique Hotel. The stunning views of waves and sunsets are set against a... More

Dearest John Q, Wow! I love your review! You write so beautifully I may want to quote some of your well-written phrases for our website. My favorite part is the "Nestled into a steep hillside overlooking the north end of the Malecon...". Fabulously explained! I'm thrilled you decided to escape for an adventure to our part of town, the historic... More

This was our first time in Mazatlan. We contemplated over staying in the hotel zone or old town. We're so glad we stayed in old town. Exactly what we were looking for. The service at this hotel is exceptional. Everyone there was so accommodating and greeting you with smiles and hellos! We only ate here for breakfast and snacks, all... More

Dearest Pjcat77, Thank you for the fabulous review! I am thrilled that you gave others the tip to venture out for a beautiful walk by veering left instead of right to head into the center of town. Going up the hill and walking through the neighborhood gives people such beautiful and unobstructed views of the ocean so I thank you... More

Dearest MsTified, Your subject line alone made our week! Thank you for the wonderful review and your recommendations are extremely helpful as we want people to know that during Carnival season it can get very loud. We always look forward to seeing you back here! Thank you again for the wonderful note. Best, Sophia More

We had an extra night before we had to fly out, so we chose Casa Lucila, based on Trip Advisor reviews. This place was a respite for us, a place to catch our breaths, regroup, relax, and enjoy our last day in Mazatlan. Semana Santa is wonderful--but a lot of traffic, beach noise, people! We were dropped off at Casa... More

Dearest Julie C, We are so glad you chose to stay with us for your final night in Mazatlan. Semana Santa can be almost as challenging and as loud as Carnival week so we know how it can feel to try and maneuver around Olas Altas beach area. However enjoyable, it is nice to have a home away from home... More

Went to Mazatlán for the 3rd time, looking to stay again in Centro Historico with my family and in comfort. This property, location, staff, dining, and overall hotel experience was the best. The rooms and hotel are beautiful, first-rate. The views from, and experience on, the 3rd floor - essentially private - infinity pool deck can't be beat. Peaceful and... More
