This is one of the finest run hotels I've ever known. I've stayed there now nearly a total of 3 weeks while working in Mazatlán……… and was reluctant to leave once my time was up. The owners, who built the hotel, are intimately involved in the daily function of this exquisite boutique. The staff is courteous, kind, and capable; food... More

This is absolutely the place to stay in Mazatlan! You could not get a better location--it's in the historic center and on the most beautiful and happening beach! Sitting by their infinity pool, looking out to the islands, the sweeping beach of olas altas, watching the surfers, and drinking cervezas micheladas was heaven! We ended our afternoon with a fabulous... More

How many hotels in Mexico (or anywhere for that matter) can you check in on a thursday and, by the time you check out monday, you're hugging the entire family that owns it (and its staff)? Casa Lucila! I brought my girlfriend here for her 30 birthday from Sept 19th - 22nd and it did not disappoint. From my very... More

This place is incredible. First off it's away from all of the tourists so you get to mingle with all the locals. As you drive up to the property it is very nicely painted and clean. As you walk in I got the feeling that Michel Eisner, EX CEO of Disney, was the owner. If you have ever read anything... More

Its ok not to have access to the beach, but what really bothered me was that the sweamming pool was freezing because it doesn't have a heater. So if you are are here for the sun, beach and sun, Casa Lucila won't definitely be it.

Hi Alejandro, Thank you for taking the time to write! We take all feedback very seriously, whether good, or (thankfully not too often.....) bad! We visited Mazatlan for the Carnaval and I chose this hotel for its proximity to the old town and its location along Olas Altas which is near the Carnaval festivities. We stayed 3 nights in Lucy. It was very spacious and we had 1 extra single bed placed in the room. The room is very clean and the air conditioning... More

My husband and I returned a year later with friends for our second stay at Casa Lucila. The location of the hotel is wonderful in relation to the historic district (easy walking and yet just far enough away to be quiet in the evenings). This is a boutique hotel. Every touch is exquisite, from food, to design, to service. We were in the Marina room, huge with very comfortable bed, fridge and giant bathroom.
