We are regular visitors to the Dolphin Cove Inn. The rooms offer all that you need to make for an easy self-catering holiday. The resort has a wonderful pool, restaurant and easy access to the luxurious facilities of Las Hadas next door. Our daughter loves to snorkle with her dad off the beach of the resort. This year they even... more

My sister and I spent a lovely eight days at Dolphin Cove Inn in late November of 2007. This resort is charming in its size and sense of privacy. It is so much more appealing than the larger Mexican resorts/hotels I have frequented in the past. Throughout the resort was an explosion of multi-colored bougainvilleas on the terraced walkways and... more

We spent another wonderful week at the Dolphin Cove Inn. Loved the food at the restaurant. Some terrific improvements have been made there. Try the blackberry margaritas. Mmmmm! Rooms, facilities and beach continue to be in excellent condition. Can't wait to go back again! more

Beautiful hotel with even better view comparable to the Greek isles. I have been traveling in Mexico for years and I have to say this was one of my best experiences. The service and the views are second to none. The breakfast was excellent with great views. The only negative that some people might not like is the all the... more

We stayed at the Dolphin Cove Inn Dec 27, 2007-Jan. 2, 2008. We absolutely loved it! We were traveling with our twin 9 year olds, a boy and a girl. They loved the pool and the beach which are both right there on the property. We stayed in a double bed suite, it was immaculate, cleaned very thoroughly every day... more

We just came back from a 2 week stay at the Dolphin Cove. First for the good things....beautiful grounds, flowers, pool area, beach. Excellent service in the restaurant and enjoyed the few meals we had there. They put on an impressive spread, beautifully decorated for New Years Eve with an excellent band. The Concierge (Edgar) was extremely helpful and speaks... more

We loved it. I have four kids and we had adjoining rooms. The rooms have kitchens so we could eat breakfast at home and then go out for the day. We can't wait to go back. Love the blackberry margaritas at the restaurant! more

A very nice facility, however it is not for anyone who has any disability with the legs as getting around the site is either up or down ramps, stairs or spiral cases. We did not realize this when we booked in and sadly had to leave after one night. Staff of the Dolphin were very helpful in finding a room... more

Just as the previous reviews exclaimed the Dolphin Cove is a wonderful Mexican place to stay. Very quaint, lovely views, beautiful pool and beach next door. The on site restaurant was very good and had lovely views. However one distressing thing I would like to mention was the very evident smog that hung over the city. We found out that... more

I was warned in other reviews about the steps and they were right. 125 steps down from the lobby to my room. 64 steps up to the cobblestone street/walkway then down 60 to the pool and restaurant/bar/pool. A beautiful view from my terrace. Room was OK. Mexico bed firmness. Spent most of my time at Las Hadas, next door. Faster... more
