I absolutely loved the look of the hotel and grounds. Flowers everywhere - a gorgeous contrast to the less-adorned hotels on either side. The buildings and walkways are pure white - apparently painted three times a year to keep it pristine, again in contrast with the dirtier, peeling hotels around it. Several sailboats anchored in front of the Dolphin Cove... More

Checked in to some construction going on which I was not informed about when I made the reservations. Got to the room and power went out so no internet and more important no a/c. Called the office and got the run around. Power was out for about 8 hours, due to the construction I suspect. The staff made no attempt... More

Went back to the Dolphin Cove Inn after a bit more than one year and was quite disappointed. After having had an amazing stay the first time, this time we could not wait to leave. The hotel is run down! Rooms do not seem to be maintained, the quality of the furniture, AC, kitchen and bathroom was very bad and... More

I had to give the motel a low rating because of poor service. They are very slow to respond to special requests, if at all. The first night I asked for two extra towels, never recieved them, also at the pool they hand out towels, they told my 11 year old to come back in 10 minutes two times and... More

We found the Dophin Cove Inn a pleasant surprise. It is on the side of a hill in a secluded Bay and the steps can be a challenge. The staff were very accomodating and relocated us to a lower room that was easier for us to reach. The pool and area was kept clean with lots of chairs for sunning... More

Once again, we spent our winter vacation time at Dolphin Cove Inn. This has been our fifth time to this small Mexican boutique hotel in Manzanillo. It is not a 5 start resort with all inclusive meals. You do not need to get up at the crack of dawn to save a chair by the pool, nor do you need... More

We do not recommend this place. Rooms are not cleaned regularly, there was no bellboy service, the pool was left non working and towels are ratty. Our room was kitchenette equipped without the equipment. I'm glad to be out of there and I won't be going back even if it was free. There are much better places in Manzanillo.

Me and my girl love this place. We much enjoy the breakfast and resonably priced dinners here that are so convenient. The staff is very helpful and will be glad to let you look at the room before you say 'yes'. The pool is nice sized in my opinion and clean. It does get some use with the children who... More

My wife and I were there the week after Christmas 2011. We enjoyed New Year's there as well. This is a modest hotel, I think used extensively by Mexican families from Guadalajara. Sure lot's of steps as it is on a steep hill! The staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet was well done each day. The pool is small... More

Thank you for choosing Dolphin Cove Inn and coming to stay with us after Christmas. Christmas and Easter are by far our busiest time with lots of families staying at the hotel. We really appreciate you taking the time to write a review. We would love to welcome you back again soon! More

The title pretty summed it up. I stayed in the city for a night then my companion moved us. In order to go down to the beach there's a loooong flight of stairs. It was ok but don't come here if it bothers you. One night the music was blaring at 2am. The room was big with a mini kitchen... More

Thank you for your review of Dolphin Cove Inn. We really appreciate your feedback. We do have lots of stairs! We have units that are higher up and units that are lower down and closer to the beach. If you come back, we will be sure to put you in a room lower down and closer to the beach. Thanks... More
