I came to this hotel and tried to check in. It took about 40 minutes to do so with only 4 parties ahead of me. The front desk was very inefficient also eleven I checked out. The remote for my TV did not work at all. The room itself is nice and I did not use the rest of the... More

We just came back from Tesoro hotel. It is 3 star hotel, so we didn't expect too much, but we were quite pleased overall with this place. Hotel is little old, needs some loving care, but they keep it very clean. Bathroom (at least in our room) was smelly often (sewer smell), we complained and they used some spray to... More

Don't know where to begin. 1. The hotel was dated and not properly cleaned in ages; there was sand plastered to the shower in large clumps and it was apparent it had been there for a long time, the carpet and entertainment unit was covered in tiny mites, they never changed the sheets. 2. Three of the days we never... More

The manager is never in no matter how many times you ask. The lines for NYE reservation was more than 2 hours long with one person letting people pick what table they wanted for more than 20 min. (Eye roll) the door keys never worked. Towels weren't in our room. It was a horrible experience. Food wasn't as good. AC... More

It`s a decent hotel, the food is not great but ok, the rooms are clean although a bit dated, the things i liked the most were the beach and the matress. Service is a lotery, some staff is very helpfull and kind and some are rude and lazy. The quality-price relation is good, i recommend this hotel if you are... More

My family and I (8 in total) stayed at the Tesoro from December 23rd - Dec 30th 2014. Hotel is very nice - our room was very clean and the musty smell was minimal (we were in room 513, my parents & brothers were on the 16th floor and their rooms seemed to be a little more dated than ours).... The hotel is quite nice and is situated next to an attractive beach on a narrow bay. The buffet food was okay, even if the variety was a bit lacking. The restaurant meals were very good, with excellent service. The only unpleasing aesthetic were the carpets in the rooms -- they looked very cheap and were poorly installed. I spent... More

We spent six days enjoying our second time at the Tesoro Resort (we came here four years ago and enjoyed it enough to return). It's not the best in Mexico and far from the worst. The people make it a success. Everyone is kind and accommodating here but nothing beats the warmth of the waiters in the a la carte... More

Best trip I ever had, entertainment staff was excellent. Lots of excursions to do, caught a massive marlin out fishing, and did some shopping and sight seeing. Rooms are okay. If you can upgrade at the hotel large 1-2 bedroom suites are in the hotel. I recommend Tesoro Manzanillo.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2014

Late November, after a 1/2 hour cab ride from the airport (440.00 pesos), we arrived at Tesoro Manzanillo to find a beautiful resort on a semi private bay. We stayed on the third floor of the lower building overlooking the pool and bay. The room was a bit dated and had a bit of a musty smell, but we did... More
