I had stayed at this inn a couple of years ago. The room was very basic. The hotel was quiet and relaxing. I had been in email communication with the owner regarding reservations for two rooms for late August. I simply needed to get back to him with my credit card info for confirming the rooms. We live about a... More

We rarely respond to comments on TripAdvisor because guests are entitled to their own opinion, not everyone will fall in love with our unique Inn like the majority of our repeat guests. However, we must respond to this post and ask the same question ... Wow, really? Why would the night watchman need to wake the owner if there wasn't... More

I couldn't quite rate La Posada as very good this time. Our third trip to Manzanillo and a wonderful trip it was. To get to the Very Good rating La Posada needs to remedy these little issues: 1) Rooms need a thorough cleaning and a little sprucing up. Our ceiling fan hummed so loud that we were afraid to use... We just returned from a 5 day stay in La Posada. I had watched the reviews here on TA and they were consistently good for La Posada. I was not disappointed. It was a wonderful week. The hotel is NOT a box cutter plastic hotel, but rather a smaller and unique Mexican hotel. We live in Mexico and are accustomed... More

The hotel is in need of some TLC but overall a great place and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. We had a room on the 2nd floor where you definitely get more of a breeze off the water and a better view. It's located down... More

We spent 2 nights here and could not have been happier with Hotel La Posada. Our room was large and comfortable. We were just a few steps from the pool and only a few more from the beach, which is wide, quiet and loooong. The sunset views were perfect. We were a little concerned about the hotel's proximity to the... More

We stayed here for a few days in 2002. It was owned by an older American and a bit run down, but friendly. The only refreshments provided at the time were beer and soft drinks in a refrigerator. It was on the honor system: you put your bottle cap in your room number's cubby hole, and they added it to... More

We never tire of returning to this peaceful quiet little piece of heaven. Staff is like family. Ocean is warm (sometimes more so than the swimming pool). A very relaxing small hotel to visit. The hotel is being upgraded with a completely new entry way, new office, new sala seating arrangement and a new kitchen. The upgrades have made the... More

Hubby and I spent four nights here at the beginning of the month. It was a quiet, wonderfully relaxing time. We went snorkeling along the nearby jetty, enjoyed the pools and were blown away by the wonderful breakfasts. The fellow vacationers and staff were very friendly and helpful. The only caveat is the location-- good for quiet but challenging for... More

My son and I had a wonderful time at La Posada.Went for swim in beach just 2 minutes from our room every morning. I had a massage on the beach while sunset. Breakfast was included with fresh fruit, eggs Mexican style and hot cakes. All staff very accommodating even though I didn't speak Spanish

Another restful visit on the beach. It is away from all the touristy things that vacationers seem to want. It is a dated property but that is part of the charm. The beach is just a few steps from the rooms and there is a noticeable lack of beach vendors, a real plus to me. Breakfast is great, and the... More
