Although a beautiful setting with wonderful views, the hotel needs updating. The tiles in the outdoor bar area were worn; the lampshades and upholstery in our room were stained; the mattress was hard and uncomfortable. To begin, not a 4.5 star, more like a 2.5 star. It was once the best hotel in the world and you can see why. The majesty is still there although faded and crumbling and in need of new management. We booked thru Airtransat Vacations for the All inclusive option.We stayed in the Brisas beach club section.Room was very large with a very large deck and a great view of the ocean.This hotel was extremely clean and the rooms which were all white were large and included a large LCD TV.The bed was very firm.
