Las Hadas is a beautiful old property but boy is it boring! Stay here only if you want to totally relax and nothing else. The bars are closed most of the time and the town is about a 25 minute trip away by taxi. The taxi only cost about 8 usd so it's reasonable. On the bright side, the concierge... more

I agree with many of the comments posted by others. The resort can use some updating but we still found the place to be 'charming.' We practically had the place to ourselves mid-week (gets crowded on the weekends.) We opted for the Brisas Beach Club and enjoyed both the adult pool and the daily cocktail hour. Our room was clean... more

Although a beautiful setting with wonderful views, the hotel needs updating. The tiles in the outdoor bar area were worn; the lampshades and upholstery in our room were stained; the mattress was hard and uncomfortable. However, the bathroom was good sized and the shower had ample room with a bench. The view from the wide balcony is beautiful and overlooks... more

We stayed at the Las Hadas from March 14-21. It's one of the most "special" places we have ever stayed. Yes it is old, but that only adds to the special feel of the location. Just the beautiful grounds, flowers, beautiful white buildings, the amazing personal service, make this resort a 5-star in my eyes. The rooms are basic but... more

We've just returned from a lovely week at Las Hadas. 2 families travelling together were well accommodated in 4 adjacent rooms . This is the first trip I've had to the sunny south that we were GUARANTEED connecting rooms - what a treat not having to cram rollaway beds into rooms and side step sleeping children, the adults had their... more

First of all, lets make the point, that my husband and I have stayed in many 5* hotels: many Ritz Carlton, The Carlton in Cannes, the Regent Beverly Wilshire in LA, the 4 Seasons in Santa Barbara and Palm Beach, The Lowell in New York, the Mayfair House in Miami and I probably forget some. Las Hadas CANNOT be compare... more

To begin, not a 4.5 star, more like a 2.5 star. It was once the best hotel in the world and you can see why. The majesty is still there although faded and crumbling and in need of new management. Mostly a place for older people. Very quiet and not much entertainment. the rooms needed care. beds are rock hard... more
