I really liked this hotel for the following reasons: * Good food. My husband is a vegetarian and every time we go to an all-inclusive hotel he can only eat salads and chips, but here he had delicious meatless dishes and I enjoyed the seafood and the steaks. * Good service * hotel located at the entrance of Ixtapa *... more

We went here for our anniversary and my husband called ahead to make sure we had an awesome view. We were on one of the top floors and the view out of the balcony was just breathtaking! ANd that night they brought up a desert tray, I don't know if that was normal or just because my husband had called... more

After staying at the NH Krystal and giving it a negative review, I went back to Ixtapa and stayed at the Park Royal even extending the stay for more than 6 weeks What a difference between the two hotels. After reading subsequent negative reviews for the Krystal mine was too kind toward the hotel. I must say that the Park... more

We stayed at the Park Royal from March 5th to the 12th, it was a wonderful place to stay! We were on the 21st floor with a spectacular view of the ocean. The entire staff from the waiters, maids, bartendars, front desk to the entertainment team were awesome! I can't say enough good about it. We never had a problem... more

We stayed at the Park Royal from March 26-April 4th, and would go back tomorrow, if we could! This was our 3rd trip to Ixtapa, last year we stayed at the Dorado, and enjoyed that, but couldn't pass up a deal at the Park Royal, even though I was pretty apprenhensive, prior to our trip, about doing an AI in... more

We went to Park Royal on a timeshare exchange. We had a very difficult time when we arrived to check in and pay for the all-inclusive part of our package. Our credit card company would not let the charge go through and they posted a fraud alert on our credit card. The staff at the front desk offered no help... more

I came here on an RCI trade. I had read the reviews before I left and everyone was right on. The staff is impecable. When we arrived at the airport there was a Park Royal sign & RCI. I was so happy to see it. Our name was on the list. We did have to pay for the taxi but... more

The Park Royal is in a great location - it's an easy walk to Ixtapa shopping, dining and the marina. Hotel is a solid 3 star. Nothing overly luxurious, but rooms are large, very clean, and we had a fabulous view of the ocean. The pool is very large with a swim up bar - water is very warm. The... more

The Park Royal Ixtapa was the perfect all-inclusive hotel. They have an army of staff who work all day and night to keep the place clean. It is right on the beach with plenty of sun and shade spots facing the beautiful view where you can lounge all day if you want. The hotel itself has all the necessities and... more
