The Pacifica started out on the wrong foot for us. Upon check -in (@ 4pm) we were told our room was not ready yet and we were able to sit @ the pool and enjoy the all-inclusive drinks/snacks. After checking twice with them, our room was finally ready 2 hours later. Then the busboy took us to a room that... more

This is a slightly biased review, as my family have been coming to Pacifica for almost 20 years as timeshare owners, but I really do think Pacifica is a lovely place and want people to hear some good things about it! There is no doubting that in the past 10 years or so their marketing has been racheted up to... more

Staff was very courteous. We had one of the Jr rooms and it was adequate, but I did not like the step up to get to the kitchen and restroom. But it was alway cleaned nicely. Some rooms had their own jacuzzi and some of the buildings had their own pool. Beach was convenient for us, but for some, it... more

My wife and I stayed at Pacifica "Sands" and we really enjoyed it. We booked our stay thru RCI and so we were manditory all inclusive guests, which was fine. I had researched the names of a few recommended restaurants in Ixtapa/Zihua., but we found the buffet food at Pacifica to be very good, and the week we were here... more

My vacation at Pacifica had major ups and downs. Upon arrival, we checked in - to discover that the all inclusive was optional, which was not what the RCI website said. During check-in, we were reminded that the loss of our bracelets or towel cards would result in substantial replacement costs. To be expected, perhaps, but not the way we... more

Hello We booked a week through RCI and stayed at the Pacific Club. We originally were booked there and I had read some reviews and had contacted the resort to see if we could upgrade. After multiple attempts they had told me to check when we checked in. When I asked the front desk they said that there were no... more

The hotel isn't that bad but it isn't fit for toddlers. First of all the smallest pool was too deep for my 5 yr old, imagine my 1 year old there. Also, the balconies aren't safe for children they can fit perfectly between the poles or tubes. It was nervewracking taking care of our 1 and a half all day... more

Dear Queretaro Tani, It´s bad to hear your story and believe me it is a very important point of you you have about the coffee pots and the space between bars. I am sending this to customer service and operations to work on it. Thank you very much for your review and we hope you can give us a try...

We had a "bonus week" with RCI and the only options were the Pacifica Golf or the Park Royal. My fiancé and I decided to stay at the Pacifica Golf as we had stayed at the Park Royal when it was a Radisson. We checked-in, paid the all-inclusive fee, took one look at our room and immediately found another place... more

Pacifica has a problem in not always having the same level of unit that a RCI member uses as a trade. Pacifca and other Pacific Coast Resorts are having more guest thru RCI because of the Hurricane a couple of years ago when RCI had to find places for alot of the members and there was very little damage done...

We were lucky to get the top floor of building 71 of the Aqua Units. The 2 top floor units are called the penthouse suites- your living area is outside like a giant veranda and you have the sound of the waves hitting the rocks below the unit 24hrs a day. Our unit had wifi but could only be used... more
