We stayed at Hotel del Pirata on Playa la Ropa. http://www.hoteldelpirata.com Cost was 600 pesos($50) per night for AC room w/ view of beach. Restaurant is not so great, but owners and staff are very helpful and accommodating. This end of beach is away from larger hotels, but gets busy as it is popular with Mexican people. Free use of... 1. Helpful and friendly staff. 2. Perfect beach location right on frequent bus route. 3. Clean rooms with budget option available. 4. Jose took us fishing and we caught 4 sailfish in 5 hours!
