Well we just got back from Ixtapa Mexico staying at the Presidente. We read all the reviews before we went and we were very concerned about what we were going to see when we got there. Once again we went back to the Inter-Continental Presidente in Ixtapa. We had a great time and great weather as usual. We could see that the hotel is repairing certain things and trying to make the hotel look nice. This is our 7th time to Ixtapa and the 4th time staying here. We arrived on February 11, 2009 to a beautiful day in Zihua -85 degrees and sunny. It was like that all week. My husband and I stayed as part of an event that doubled as a vacation. In general, the staff that we meant were very very very friendly and that was wonderful. My husband and I stayed here for 7 days and is was pretty good. The hotel isn't to much to look at and needs some major up grades, kinda falling apart but it is built in the 70's. every room has a great view we stayed in the garden area and had a great patio that over looked the pool... more
