My husband and I (early 60's) recently stayed in this great hotel for two weeks. The rooms are clean and comfortable with very comfortable beds and tastefully and creatively decorated. The views are magnificent with individual patio areas that look out over stunning vistas and the hotel's own beautiful gardens. There are beautiful and private beaches a short walk from... More

We stay there for week. The breakfast was delicious with beautiful view of the bay of Conejos. It was very relaxing vacation. The host gave us tips where to shop & restaurants to eat in the city of Huatulco. We certainly appreciate their advice. Thank again!

We stayed at the Aqua Azul la Villa for 2 weeks in January 2014. What an amazing place close to town – but not to close, great pools, beautiful garden, fantastic view, a place to restore and rejuvenate. The fruit plate for breakfast and the baked goods were always tasty, met wonderful people during our stay. Our hosts Brooke and... More

We stayed here at the start of Jan for 5 days and I really wish that we had at least 2 more. I was initially worried that Huatulco would be too purpose built for my liking which is why Agua Azul was the perfect find. Charming, full of character & personal touches- it really is as beautiful as the photos.... More

I spend 6 days days in this magnificent villa. The view is amazing. I very much enjoyed the pool and garden and the knowledgeable and hospitable hosts. The nearby white, sandy beach is wonderful. Many cheap taxi's, with friendly drivers, are available to transport the guests to and from the nearby small village of Crucecita.

This place was beautiful! It was off the beaten path and not directly on the beach but was amazing! We had our own private little villa overlooking the ocean and sunset. Very exotic birds would perch in the trees just down from our villa. The owners at the time where Canadian, very welcoming and always included very organic breakfasts with... More

For all those of us who prefer individually planned trips to all-inclusive package deals, small places with genuine character to big, fancy but fenced-in resorts, yet who all the same appreciate some comfort, this is one of the best imaginable places to stay in order to explore the beautiful Oaxacan coast. The hosts are absolutely lovable, never intrusive but always... More

Genuinely hospitable Canadian hosts, Rick and Brooke, run a beautifully situated and landscaped B&B. Its best trait is the proximity to a nearby hidden beach: wonderfully desolate, riptide-free and gorgeous. While we generally preferred the feeling of Mazunte to Huatulco, we would certainly recommend that you stay at this B&B, if planning stay in the area.

Agua Azul La Villa is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the coast in Huatulco. The spacious rooms overlook a small cove. Each room is relatively private and includes a patio and hammock. I enjoyed waking up to the sound of the waves hitting the beach. Rick and Brooke were fabulous hosts. Breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed visiting... More
