This was my 6th visit to Huatulco having stayed in Tangolunda the previous times. This was also my first trip solo as my husband could not get away this time. I picked the Castillo for this reason as I did not want to be in a standard all inclusive that was geared to couples. I loved the fact that it... More

We stayed at the Castillo last year loved it and went back. We found the food at the hotel and at the beach club to be excellent. We love the waiters and servers at the Castillo. All were so friendly. After staying a week at the Castillo we spent a week at the Dreams. The beer at the Castillo was... More

Sorry for late review but had to comment on the service at Castillo beach club. When we stayed there they would bring you a new drink before you were done the first one and this went on all day. This service is second to none we couldnt believe it. Just got back from Dreams Huatulco where we had trouble getting... More

My best friend and I booked a 2-week all inclusive holiday to Huatulco for a bargain price and we were very pleased with the hotel, it was clean and well maintained, and we enjoyed the entertainment, trips and nights out. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and there were always fun activities at the hotel and beach club. The... More

We stayed at the Castillo from Mar.4 to 11/14. We were fortunate and had a second floor room with terrace. Loved it! It was so nice to sit and people-watch, especially during our week, because of the festival for the beginning of Lent. There was so much to see. The room itself was clean, but had very poor lighting. Our... More

We stayed at the Hotel Castillo Huatulco from Feb 18 - 25, 2014 and here are my comments. The food at the Hotel and Beach Club was NOT GOOD (and I am being nice). We only ate at the hotel/beach club about 4 times in 7 days because it was SO BAD! We are not picky eaters and don't expect... More

We spent a week in Huatulco at the Castillo hotel. The staff is friendly, the Mexican food is excellent and the location is great if you want to walk around and explore. The beach club at Chahue Beach is excellent although the ocean can be rough and the water gets deep fast. When we return to Huatulco, we plan to... More

We just spent a week at this hotel and enjoyed it very much. Rooms We started off on the 4th floor overlooking the pool with a king bed and switched to the second floor overlooking the street because I wanted a terrace. My husband was not happy when the cement truck arrived across the street at 6.30 the next morning... More

We just returned from a 2 week trip to Huatulco, and spent our second week (6th time) at the Castillo. We were very happy as usual with this quaint Mexican Hotel in Santa Cruz. Special thanks to Raquel, Marisol, Monse and Freddie in the Restaurant - they have always been outstanding. At the Lobby and Bar special accolades go to... More

We stayed for a week at the Castillo, about the same time as tocomec2,and would agree 100% with what was said. The weather was superb. The beach club a short delightful walk. Had dinner once in town . Met a lot of nice people. Quiet hotel ,no problem sleeping.
