We only stayed one night on our way through Mexico but the time we had there was very relaxing. We had a great view over the bay. The hotel is looking rather tired and needs a bit more maintenance to keep it at the standard they want to position the hotel at (a little more painting wouldn't hurt). The staff... More

My family has been going to this hotel for the last 14 years and it's one of our favorite beach vacation spots in Mexico as there are many wonderful things to do with kids in Huatulco and there are many restaurants in the City (taxi only charges 49 pesos to the City and it's a 10 min drive) that are... Quinta Real is a gem in the heart of Huatulco. The staff can be Extremely friendly under the correct circumstances. Be forewarned, the resort is very far from the town. If I had it to do all over again I would have stayed closer to the town. BUT, this resort is really nice. Yes, it needs some updating and some... More

16 years ago, I spent a week at the Club.Med in Tangalunda Bay in Huatulco, SW México. Here I met my husband. We vowed to return to Huatulco one day, and to stay at the hotel with the beautiful white domes across the bay, the newly opened Quinta Real. We have just got round to doing this and what a... More

We had a wonderful 5 day visit at Quinta Real in a Grand Classe Suite with a private pool. We took a wonderful private boat tour of the bays (Captain Dimitri) from Santa Cruz and enjoyed visiting the village of La Crucecita. Hotel Yays: Friendly, helpful staff. The Concierge had good recommendations for off-site dinner options and activities. Spacious suite,... More

We just returned from a magical week at the Quinta Real. Acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and wild forest, and just 28 rooms and a few condos. We enjoyed privacy, excellent service and breathtaking views from just about everywhere in the resort. The suite was so fabulous, that we spent a lot of time in the room, and on the... More

Check In and The Room: Upon arrival, we were greeted with the best coconut ice cream you will ever have and staff to take our bags. We checked in, took in the fabulous Tangolunda bay views and made our way to our rooms. The double-room we were first put in had an older, musty smell. After we complained, they upgraded... More

We just have a couple of nights here, is vacation time so is packed, service is just fine, very good as you may expect in a 5 star hotel, welcome and every detail was as expected, I like it, nevertheless the hotel is turning old, needs some maintenance in common areas but also in the room, we had a suite... I personally loved the hotel. We stayed in a room that had a private pool, so kids loved that. Service extraordinary. Food delicious. The pool is located on the beach club that has a lovely view. It has two pools and the access to the beach is simple. It also has a marina. Lovely great experience

I arrived to Huatulco after spending 4 nights in Oaxaca. I stayed 3 nights at this hotel and am so happy I found it thanks to other reviews on Trip Advisor. The price of rooms is not cheap but to me it was worth every penny. Luckily it was low season when I was there and the hotel was not... More
