My husband and I recently returned from 2 weeks in Huatulco where we spent the first week in town at this lovely 3-star hotel. The second week, our daughter and her husband joined us at the 5-star Camino Real Zaashila. I must say if I were rating hotels, I would reverse their ratings! The only reason Mision de los Arcos... more

I really enjoyed my stay at Mision de los Arcos in Huatulco, Mexico. Everyone was very cheerful and helpful. And the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was by far the best in town. And I really miss the mango and tangerine smoothies. Everyone helped to make it one of the best vacations I ever... more

Second trip to Huatulco - Excellent experience, great service, beatiful room, great AC, great location, wonderful restaurant/coffee bar/ice cream bar. my wife and I enjoyed the licuados and aguas frescas. Stayed at the Camino Real last summer and I would rather be at Mision de los Arcos any day. Took a day trip to Zipolite, Mazunte and Puerto Angel -... more

Mision de los Arcos has been a great discovery! My husband and I liked the atmosphere and we will return on august 2009 together with friends and children. Furthermore, the rates are really good. last but not least: the food, the cappuccinos and the icecreams on the downstair café Terra Cotta are really fantastic (free wireless connection for pcs available). more

We enjoyed a ten day stay in one of the most charming, well run, small hotels we have experienced in over fifteen years of traveling in Mexico. Our every need was met by a cordial, efficient team of employees and the owners, Sherry and Sam, went out of their way to help us enjoy every moment of our visit to... more

You won't find a better place for less than $50CDN per night. Aside from lacking a pool, I couldn't find any reason to complain about Mision De Los Arcos. I stayed 2 nights in a single room with king size bed. I can't stress how clean the room was... which is the main reason I would return. more

I used to work for Hyatt Hotels so my standards are high. When not in the U.S. I prefer small, more "local" flavor places. I don't pick a hotel in Mexico because it has cable television, and rarely spend more than 8 hours on the property. I am a single traveler, so security is important, as well as treatment. All... more

We stayed for a week at Mision de Los Arcos. For the price, this is a great place to stay. We stayed in the Garden Suite, however, it was not a suite in the American sense of the word. It was only a bedroom and bath, no sitting area or room. The Good: We paid less than $50 per night.... more

I had mixed feeling when I got to the hotel, my last vacation was in Cancun on the hotel stip and my expectations were high. I felt a bit unsure but I can safely say that it grew on me alot. I had a great time, the staff always friendly, but reserved they kept their boudaries and very serious. I... more

At almost $60 dollars - this is not a good choice. After being greeted by a kid - perhaps 12 years old -bad start - he wasn't rude but certainly not pleasant. The room was clean. The beds are awful. Can't believe there isn't a bedside table for stuff or a reading lamp. But worse is the security. There was... more
