Stayed here with my family (including baby) in August. Rooms are lovely with great A/C, staff kind, view awesome. Pool was great as were tours and concierge service. The beach was not great - too rough for swimming and with a sharp dropoff. Food was pricey and not fantastic. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel has a grandiose style that requires a some refreshing. Huge rooms that look strangely empty.. Otherwise, staff on the open bar was not that attentive to the patrons, (we were only 3, and we have to wave hands to get one beer!) Cuisine was good, with the typical Oaxaca fanciness.

So beautiful, peaceful and super romantic hotel. Pool area as well as beach are just fabulous, well maintained , clean and perfect, The old piano, that is a antique detail unfortunately doesn't work. This hotel is perfect for someone that likes peace and quiet moments. Bar closes very early, there is no entertainment, if you need to party a bit,... More

Excellent place for relaxing and taste local Fresh sea food dishes. Confortable rooms with all advantajes of modern infrastructure combined with nature and wild life ... Relaxing massage at the beach very much recomended as well as the "Pulpo en su Tinta" dish with a cold "Michelada"

If you're looking for a quiet & intimate resort, this is the place for you. The beach is beautiful and the food was very good. The service was laid back but all the staff were extremely friendly and polite. I would recommend this place for couples.

We were looking for a place at the beach, which wasn't the typical crowed "All Inclusive" hotel and found Camino Real. This hotel is located in Tangolunda bay and has direct access to the beach, which is protected to both sides with rocks (so it doesn't have an inviting public access). This is an important factor for us since we... More

Rooms are comfortable but somewhat sterile. Odors in bathroom. Views and balcony very nice. Towels ragged and rooms could use some TLC. Pool area and beach, gorgeous! Our room was not ready when we arrived mid-afternoon which did not make us feel welcome. Loud noise from a convention fiiesta until 1:00 AM. Not acceptable! Need comfortable furniture for the balconies.

We have previously stayed at the Zaashila so many times it’s like an old pair of comfy slippers! We like to stay there because the location is fantastic, quiet, secluded and the beach is not over populated. We stayed there this time for 12 nights in Feb ’14 and were taken aback by the awful, poor and slow service! (yes,... More

We opted for this resort because many of the reviews described this location as being quiet, secluded and unpopulated...but what we hadn't expected was the quality of the food and drink. We chose the all inclusive package and are thankful we did! Because this is a newly designated inclusive resort we had to sign off on our bills and charge... More

Hotel setting is beautiful, in Tangolunda Bay -- while beach is small, the view from the pool, restaurant and bedrooms is fantastic. However, thought that hotel layout was very inconvenient, with many steps up and down to get to my room, which was really far away from everything else in the hotel (restaurants, pool, beach, lobby). Also, unfortunately hotel has... More

Camino Real Zaashila Huatulco has a unique design, with a Contemporary Mediterranean style; this place submerged in an astonishing natural surrounding, where one can enjoy a swimming pool like no other, 120 meters in length, was sculpted in front of the complex, with a view of the bay and the extensive blue of the Pacific. A masterpiece of the Mexican Architect Javier Sordo Madaleno, (who is one of the most renowned architects worldwide and is specialized in designing tourist projects), who made this dream a reality, and on April 2, 1993 one of the most beautiful beach hotels in Mexico opened its doors.Camino Real Zaashila Huatulco is located in the beautiful Tangolunda Bay, one out of the nine bays of Huatulco in the state of Oaxaca.
