I loved staying at the Barcelo. It was right on the beach (although that part of the beach is really rough, it's easy and cheap to catch a cab to another beach like maguey), beautiful and clean rooms, comfortable beds, all-inclusive, good food, friendly staff. We stayed from May 3 - 10. The first 2 days the resort was completely booked due to Mexican holiday. After that it was quiet and not as hectic. Service was friendly. Spotlessly clean, needs upgrading, The staff are great and very friendly. The pool and beach are magnificent. The a la carte restaurants are variable.
