We (me and my wife) arrived to La Crucecita and Santa Cruz Huatulco in Semana Santa. This was not a good choice but it was related to our other plans. We visited more then 20 different hotels in La Crucecita. Everything was veeery expensive (about 3 times more than usually), but even for the normal price we wouldn't like to stay there. All the hotels were terrible, dirty and noisy. We decided to move to Santa Cruz Huatulco to look for a hotel.
Santa Cruz Huatulco is a very small town just at Pacific Coast. There are nice bays, with small beaches. The best one is Cacaluta Beach, very broad and beautiful - the only problem is to get there, 3 km on a soil-surfaced road). There are a few nice restaurants just on the beach. Almost all hotels are close to the beach (just a few minutes walk).
Because of Semana Santa we couldn't find any room availble even there. Finally decided to stay at Hotel Sol Y Mar. The room was very small, bathroom was not nice (even it was cleaned...
