We stayed at the Grand Mayan and had a wonderful stay! The one thing that bothered us was the timeshare sales pitch that they tried to get us to do - they weren't completely honest about it. We have stayed at other Grand Mayan; they are the same but different. We went during their low season so were able to get an ocean front on the end overlooking the main section of the pool.
