We arrived and there was a problem with our sink so we left and walked around the beach for a while. When we came back we found towel around our sink so we went to the desk to ask what was going on. The concierge asked our room number and already knew the problem and had a smile on his... More

For two weeks in January, the weather was beautiful, the resort was immaculate, the service was great and the one bedroom Grand Mayan suite was just fine! My only complaint, and it is system wide for the Mayan Grupo Vidanta brand is the lousy tv selections at night (or day). Fox news is not news. CNN was mostly not the... More

Last week we stayed at the Grand Mayan. It is a beautiful property with very friendly and accommodating staff. Their pools and lazy river are beautiful and very clean. The rooms are clean and housekeeping visits twice a day. Towels are plenty as are pillows. The only complaint I had about the room was the terribly musty smell. I did... More

This was our first time in Acapulco and we really enjoyed. The food was God and the service was fabulous. The entire staff from the front desk to housekeeping was very service minded. I would definitely recommend the Grand Mayan. I would suggest an upper floor if at all possible to take in the beautiful grounds.

We were a group of 3 couples and absolutely enjoyed out stay at The Grand Mayan. This resort is not brand new, however, it is one of the best maintained resorts we have visited in many years. The Grand Mayan is part of several "mayan" resorts and their is shuttle service between them that is excellent - be sure to... More

The Grand Mayan Palace is an amazing oceanfront luxury resort with the best front desk excellent customer skills of Josue Hernandez. Josue speaks fluent English and goes above and beyond to help customers with their special requests. Josue helped us get an oceanfront room despite the hotel being fully booked. He is a genuinely trustworthy hardworking front desk. Many many... More

We had a wonderful week in Acapulco at the Grand Mayan. I highly recommend guide Sebastian Hernandez for airport pick and return and sightseeing tours. His local company`s Website is AcapulcoForAll.com. We did a city tour with him as well as a trip out to the Tehuacalco Archaeological Zone and local village market. Sebastian is very attentive and very knowledgable.

we exchanged a master suite through interval... as usual and even though the hotel was not full we never got a beach view and it would be totally worth it. the rooms are spacious and clean but we did have a problem with ants... they immediately fumigated the rooms while we were out and problem solved. the full kitchen is... As others have said, this is part of a larger complex. There was a complimentary shuttle to take you from one part of the complex to another. If going into Acapulco is in the plans, a half hour taxi ride is necessary (250 pesos). Although we did not have a water-view room, we were impressed with the accommodations. We had... More
