Avalon Excalibur is a nice hotel, actually the first hotel on the well known Zona Dorada area. It is a good hotel but nothing fancy, nor expensive and luxury. I spent just 3 days at this beach resort through an all inclusive package and globally I can say this is a good option for young single travelers or couples. An excellent hotel to stay and right on a wonderful beach. Very clean and the staff were so helpful and willing to help with any question you may have. Restaurant has excellent food and easy to walk to various small shopping stores. Many families stay with children. Would certainly be going again.
