Overall the resort is beautiful, we had a unit in the Mayan Palace and one in the Grand Mayan. The pools are to die for, the staff was very accommodating and all took pride in their jobs. We would definitely come back. Don't bother taking the timeshare tour unless you have 3-4 hours to waste.

I stayed in the golf resort, for a familiy trip with kids is amazing, if you wanna go to the beach you only have to take the shuttle to the beachfront resort that comes every 5 minutes. The sand like baby powder, quite good. TIP: Avoid mexican holidays or the beach will be crowded.

This resort is part of a large complex with three different resorts that can all be visited by using the resort shuttle. Our room was basic but we were expecting that as it came as part of a promotion. We did have a balcony with a sea view and en'suite. The staff are all very helpfull and do their utmost... More

Mayan Palace Acapulco is an awesome luxury vacartion resort but Conceirge Cecile and Miriam are amazing. Cecile goes above and beyond to explain everything to make your stay memorable. She has a book to shows the many tours and her commentaries are so helpful. Her restaurant recommendations are amazing. The Italian restaurant at Sea Garden! The food was beyond amazing!... More

Our room was great, we had an ocean view on the upper level. The room was spacious and quiet. The kitchen was fully stocked. We were lacking for nothing. The staff is very friendly. The pools are great, always a spot to get away from Kids, if that's what you want to do. We also went over to the other... More

I like this place primarily for the same reasons others do not: it does not cater to Gringo tourists, but more to upper class Mexican families and businessmen. When I travel abroad on vacation, I like to experience authentic local culture and cuisine, which includes speaking the local languages. If I want to experience American resorts, there are dozens of... More

The mgr at Sea Gardens offered to switch our room to Mayan Palace as I guess they had sufficient vacancies. There are 2 properties in Mayan Palace - Mayan Palace Beach and Mayan Palace Golf. Although we don't have a beach view we have a view uf a little lagoon. Rooms are 10x nicer than Sea Garden. Swim areas are... More

I would not recommend this resort for Americans. Everything (service, activities, etc) were in Spanish. We saw only one American family during the Christmas holidays, everyone else was Mexican. Five of us came from the US to celebrate Christmas (3 flights to get there!). To our surprise, we discovered that all of the Christmas parties/dinners were sold out a month... More

The Grand Mayan in Acapulco is an absolutely gorgeous resort. It has every amenity you could possibly want and I am sure for some families who perhaps aren’t interested in visiting the actual city you don’t need to leave it for anything. We tried all the restaurants and while they were good there wasn’t any food that I would say... More
