The hotel is great and the food is not that expensive compared to most resorts and the food is good too. It is cheaper to buy food from Walmart and cook and we did do that for breakfast, so that helped cut the expenses down. The staff were very friendly and this part of Acapulco is very safe. We had... I liked very much the hotel and its facilities, the room was excellent, quite suitable for my needs traveling with small kids. I was able to make my own meals in the fully equipped kitchen. I also enjoy the new pools, they are great. Even though the hotel was full, there was plenty of room at the pools for everybody.... More

We have been going to this resort for quite some years and couldn't be more satisfied. The pools are beautiful, they go all around the resort. The staff is very friendly, they always recognize us which makes it even more enjoyable. The restaurants are very good, there is a snack bar which serves burgers, hot dogs and food of the... More

No matter the size or opulence of the facade, this resort has two serious flaws. First-off, our party was not given a room assignment until we checked in, and we were told repeatedly that they would try to procure a oceanfront room (for the entire week). Never happened, and it was obvious that they were not fully booked. At first... More

My family and I recently spent a few days at this hotel. I must say that we stayed here through a time share exchange. The hotel is located close to the Acapulco airport. It is far from the center of town and the traditional Acapulco, which is good or bad, you decide. The hotel's entrance is grand. The main lobby... More

The place is beautiful and extremely clean. The ocean and beach are very nice. Good for boggy boarding. You can have massage on beach, go horse back riding or go atving. Prices for message on beach $20 American. The staff is just the best. I love the Mexican people in general. The Italian restaurant is wonderful. We visited here in... More

Pools are very dirty, rooms are clean and big, staff is helpful but pools are awful and the water is very hot. Restaurants are not enough. Security staff are very good. The location of the hotel is good. The problem of the hotel is swimming pools as the ocean is not available to swim because of big waves.

Four women on a leisurely trip to Acapulco for the first time...booked the Mayan Palace and upon arrival find that it is under construction and must stay at the Mayan Palace-Playa.
