If you travel to Mayan Palace Acapulco expect to be treated like royalty. From the front desk to the beach waiters their goal is your comfort and happiness, The private beach vendors ask each day if you would like a massage, horseback ride, ATV rental and more but they do not push to the point of frustration. The beach itself... More

We were upgraded to Mayan Palace from Mayan Sea Gardens as it was under renovation. We were given the Suites which were huge could probably easily fit 6-8 people with a kitchen too. The view from the room was just beautiful and you could see the sunset over the mountains. The hotel had a lot of activities on the beach... More

This was our 5th time vacationing in Acapulco. We have had an outstanding time every time and love staying at the Mayan Palace. The staff treated us very well. We were greeted with smiles and quick service at the restaurants, pools, and bars. The restaurant staff, Cesar, Francisco and the rest of the crew knew us by name and spoiled... More

My husband and I just got back from a week at the Grand Mayan and cannot say how much we enjoyed our stay. We felt as though we were VIPs at an exclusive resort. We were on the 9th floor end unit, beautiful views of the ocean, mountain and golf course. While booked back in June, we were not informed... More

We had the pleasure of staying at the Mayan Palace in Acapulco in early October. The resort itself was very nicely appointed, with excellent rooms, great pool space, an outstanding restaurant on the property and an excellent and attentive staff. If you needed to get anywhere, there were always taxis waiting for you, and most of the time, the drivers... More

This is the smaller Mayan hotel in Acapulco and no view of the ocean but I like their outdoor pools better than the Grand Mayan. The water park is definitely great especially for kids and way better! They also have a regular shuttle service to the beach if you'd like to go there. They have limited food options but at... More

Even we stayed at the Grand Mayan, we visited this sister resort. It is a new resort about 3 years old. Great for families with young children because of the children water park and lazy river that runs all around the different pools at the water park. The rooms are new and comfortable. The food at the Sambas Restaurant was... More

I am not the type of person that travels to the beach to be at a pool. To go to the beach at this resort one needs to walk about 1/2 km and take a shuttle. Other issues include: beach is open-ocean and it is not safe; Internet usage has separate charge, not cheap, per laptop, ipad or iphone; and... More
