Mayan Palace - Acapulco Our Wonderful Trip to the “Mayan Palace” - Acapulco Dean & Rubina Ontario, Canada Vacationed on April 19 to 26, 2008 Dean and I returned from a trip to Acapulco recently. Arrangements were made by RCI to stay at the Mayan Palace. The grounds, beach and pool were absolutely beautiful. Hopefully, the old Mayan atmosphere and... more

My wife , daughter(20), son,(12), sister and brother in law all stayed at the Mayan Princess for the last week in April. We occupied 2 one bedroom suites and while they were quite adequate, they were not inany way special. A new hotel is in the process of being built and we can't wait to return to see it. Every... more

We stayed at the Mayan Palace April 25 - May 2nd. The place is absolutely beautiful, clean and food was really good. We did learn by the end of the week that you can buy pretty much anything at the Sun Market down by the Sea Garden. The shuttle runs every thirty minutes around the property. There is also an... more

We stayed at the Mayan Palace from April 19-April 16, 2008. We were a group of four ladies. The resort is absolutely gorgeous, and we enjoyed the pools, and the restaurants very much. The room we were originally given was on the first floor, and smelled kind of damp, so we requested a change, and got one on the sixth... more

Our family just returned from a wonderful week (April 19-26th) at the Mayan Palace using our RCI exchange. Our daughter from NYC and our son from Virginia Beach joined us for a fun filled, relaxing week at this beautiful resort. We read many reviews of the resort on TripAdvisor which truly gave us valuable information about what was ahead for... more

My husband and I have just returned from a fantastic week at the Grand Mayan. It started off a little shaky with the first room we were assigned to at the Mayan Palace. When we walked in, the smell of smoke was disgusting. Housekeeping came and sprayed, but it didn't help. The front desk then reassigned us to the Grand... more

If you are looking for beautiful sunshine and a variety of things to do, Acapulco has all that. We stayed at the Mayan Palace April 12 - 19th. We were upgraded to the Grand Mayan building. We loved the kilometer pool that meanders along the coastline. If you like to challenge yourself, the surf is UP! The Pacific has big... more

We stayed at the Mayan Palace for 2 weeks and had a great time. We were lucky to get a room on the 7th floor with an ocean view and no construction noise. Make sure you ask for a room with the number 6 or 746 - 58 because those are the semi-ocean view rooms. Some people hired drivers, but... more

We were at Mayan Palace Acapulco the week of 12 April 2008. as many have said, there was construction, as they are rebuilding the 2 room Mayan Palace facility. I had 2 single bedroom units in the 1247, 1248 area. the rooms were fairly tight, compared to the Nuevo Vallarta Mayan Palace. Service was good. Victor at the Bakal restaurant... more

We went to Acapulco during Easter week of 2008 (March 23 -March30). It was still considered to be winter there. The average daily temperature was about 86 degrees farenheit..There were no complaints about the weather other than some days it was too hot. There were 5 in our group. We are members of Fairfield timeshare so we put our points... more
