Mayan Palace is old and run down. Apparently the property is planned to be demolished and rebuilt, but until that happens, don't expect much from your room. However, the grounds (pool, restaurants, bar, etc) are beautiful! more

Just got back from a 7 day vacation in Acapulco Mexico, where we stayed at the beautiful Mayan Palace. The weather was extremely humid, but is tolerable if you stay nearby the pool, ocean or air-conditioned room.
