I paid about $27/night. Credit cards accepted. Located downtown in the old section of Acapulco. Vicinity is not charming, not beautiful. Close to the cliff divers. You'll need to take a bus to go to any decent restaurants. Do not bring your wife or girlfriend here for a week's vacation. This is not a resort. This is a budget place... More

Air conditioning, TV, Wifi, comfortable beds for the price you usually pay for a dorm. Since I couldn't find any hostels in Acapulco I was very pleased to find this hotel and enjoyed my stay here very much.

We arrived late at night and got a double bedroom here. The room is very old and not well looked after. It was so noisy from the street that it was hard to find some sleep. 20 min walk to the beach A supermarket nearby We wouldn't go there again (also we wouldn't go to Acapulco again)

If you're looking for frills then pay more. This is 2 star accommodation at best. But if you're travelling or back-packing then you can get a room here for what you'd pay for a dorm elsewhere. I had one of the better rooms. It had a double-bed, air conditioning which functioned in so much as if it was on it... More

I enjoyed my 7 nights at Hotel Oviedo right across the street from the malecon and La Costanera Miguel Aleman. You can walk up the hill to enjoy watching the cliff divers. There are no upscale restaurants nearby. But you can easily catch the bus to the hotel area where you can find all kinds of restaurants. From my room... More

I guess it all depends on what you are used to, and what your expectations are - judging from the previous reviews of this place. I have come up backpacking thru Central America, and the standards are definitely lower there. So I think this place is great. I stayed in an "economic" room 198 pesos a nite - cheap for... More

Just bear in mind that you get what you pay for if you want to avoid dorms . Rooms are old but clean, and if you can sleep with the noise of the A/C and like if you were in the middle of the main road go for this place ( I was in the 7th floor...) . Wifi didn´t... More

Booked through their website, which caused quite a lot of excitement at the hotel, as I guess most guests just show up... Anyway, this is an old, and quite basic property next to the main square in Acapulco; no frills, and quite austere... however the room was clean, the bathroom had hot water, and the air conditioning worked well. Even... More
