This hotel is very nice. Typically Mexican style. Only the rooms have AC. Common areas are hot and humid. The food was good, Service on par with the country and the rooms were comfortable. The beach area is very nice and but beware of the people on the beach that harass. I did buy nice jewelry from someone and it... More

This is not the first time that we spend a weekend at his beatiful hotel, the property is huge, well maintained and very pretty. The staff is very kind and polite, good service, great pools, delicious food, etc. I think that the rooms need a renovation (we stayed at the Pyramid Tower), the furniture looks kind of old fashion, but... Getting back to Acapulco at The Fairmont Acapulco Princess is such a joy. You know the feeling when you see the kids so happy, exhausted from the day's activity and requesting more days on the stay. The Fairmont is our place in Acapulco, beatufull and secluded, away from the crowded Acapulco Bay in the more open fast-growing Diamante área, with... More

I can't beleive this hotel charges an additional cost for using wifi and even for using the gym!! Hotels of this category around the world don't do this. The cost is not high (10 dlls per day for wifi and 7 dlls for the gym) but I still think it's an abuse. Beside that, the hotel is nice.

As you as you arrive into the open air lobby, you can sense the grand time you are about to have. Front desk staff was very helpful and throughout our stay was very accommodating with any of our questions or requests. The view of the beach from the lobby is nice, but even better from the room balcony. We had... More

Great attention from staff, rooms very clean, great smell, green and pool areas beautiful. Food is decent, not great. You have to pay for the internet which is not cool but the hotel is so beautiful that it's fine.

I am sure this was once a great, even a grand hotel, in what was once a prime location. Those days have passed, but somehow the prices have remained. Acapulco is no longer a safe location. You can visit, but expect to be confined to the hotel. Or take your chances... Personally I don't like to be imprisoned. I've said... More

Spent 3 days in this wonderful resort - the restaurants where relaxing and the food great - the room we had overlooked the grounds and the ocean - not far from the old city of Acapulco and its large sandy bay. Would love to have spent more time. and wish for the opportunity to return... I'd said it was Sept... More

Quite impressive how an excellent hotel group can manage to have in a well known beach ("Acapulco"), old rooms and provide them with the same rate as the "newer ones". When you do check-in ask to be placed in the pearl tower!! Food is good and the service is marvelous!
