We enjoyed a tasty, efficient, and friendly meal with visiting family. The Cocido soup was tasty and chockablock with vegetables. Chiles Rellenos met expectations so good for an early lunch. The guacamole was artfully presented - cold beer but slightly bland margaritas. The staff, especially Adrian, were most gracious in assisting with a wheelch chair. Much appreciated.

The Lobby is stunning! and Classy decor: Deep Woods, and Brass. And an "antique elevator." Operated by a 'pullman": the type with a manually closing exterior 'door',and a operator'assited interior gate. "they don't make 'em like that anymore". The room I had, on a Higher floor, had two fully opening windows , facing south, with a view of Downtown Nogales. Just... More

The overall of this hotel it is excellent! A beautiful place to stay and enjoy Mexico. Upscale hotel, very professional staff and a great restaurant. Travelers enjoy having a delicious meal after a shopping day! Located in the downtown of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico A very safe hotel, closed to any doctor, dentist or curios shops.

Well I went based on the previous reviews, but was sorely dissappointed. Its not 40-45 a night more like 80. The hotel does not permit outside beverages and that is a problem. Late checkouts are promptly denied. If you would like a satisfying experience at a nice hotel I would recomend elsewhere.

What a wonderfull time. Placed in the heart of Nogales, Mexico, the hotel has a flare of old and new world. Best of all, the attendants are courteous, quick to serve, and they speak English. The rooms were exceptionally clean. They may be a bit out dated, but that is the charm of staying in Mexico. We stayed in a... More

We have stayed in both types of rooms, the less expensive rooms are like a motel 6 style and the upgraded rooms are more elegant. Both rooms are very clean and taken care of. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We travel down there often just for lunch but if we have to much fun we'll stay the night.... More

I was there to visit US consulate with my wife and Kid and all I could say was it was best place to stay in Nogales, a stay you would never regret. Good : 1.Clean rooms - The rooms are bit out dated but they are clean and beds are comfortable. 2. Clean Comforters and towels - These are best... More

Nogales is safe from the drug wars -- that is, the section near the border. Further inland, beware. Alas, Americans have abandoned the place totally in droves, and the locals are suffering economically. We visited last year, heading back again this month. Staying at Fray Marcos is not cheap -- it sets you back just under $100, and rooms just... More

Just a few comments on my visit to Nogales, Sonora, Mexico this past weekend… I had a great time, and had a great "Dia de los muertos experience"! Nogales, Mexico is nothing like what we have been hearing and reading in the news. The reality of it all is that Nogales, Mexico is safe; I never felt threatened or witnessed... More
