Stayed here for 2 nights. This hotel is a great option for business travel. The staff are very polite, courteous and truly understand the concept of customer service! Check-in / check-out was quick and the front desk staff spoke fluent english. The rooms are very large, clean and I found the beds to be very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was... more

The service is amazing. Decor is fair and rooms are on the large side for Monterrey. Room service and breakfast buffet were great for a taste of "local" cuisine. I was a little put off that I was charged for the coffee from the in - room coffee maker, which clearly said "complimentary", but $2 isn't too bad. Overall, average... more

Stay here for one night with my husband. Check in was fast and accurate. Room was big, and very clean, but a little outdated for our taste. Bathroom was also very clean and spacious. We were on the sixth floor with a nice view of the city. The patio view from the restaurant is very nice. Breakfast was excellent and... more

This hotel may remind you of the “Anchorman” catchphrase, “…my apartment smells of rich mahogany.” Everything here is thick, sturdy, sound-absorbing, built to last. It looks nondescript on the outside, but it’s very well-appointed. Service is scary-good. It’s not far from downtown and couldn’t be closer to Plaza Fiesta San Agustín. Catering as it does to business travelers, it’s been... more

Stayed here for a seminar at the local campus. The hotel is top notch. The service is incredibly fast and efficient and the staff is incredibly accomodating and friendly. I would stay here again. There is a grocery store right across the street and there are a lot of places to walk to in the area. more

Very nice hotel. Not really great for small children. More business like adults. I have absolutely no complaints about this hotel. more

I recently traveled to Monterrey for the first time. I'm always nervous about travel in Mexico but the Presidente was a fine hotel at a decent price. Many of the staff speak fluent English for those of us who or language challenged. The room was fabulous and the food was awesome. I will stay here again on future visits. more

The hotel is in a good location to find places to eat, shop, and site see. The cable system has English speaking channels that include shows from all the networks (NBC, ABC, WB, etc.). The hotel has nice swimming pool and tennis court. The sports bar is lively. more

RECOMMENDED: Mini-review as my business stay was only 1 night. Check-in was friendly and quick, staff during the entire time seemed eager to serve but not in your face friendly. I was upgraded to a patio room and allowed to check-in at 11 a.m.. Room was very large, clean and in general good repair. Bathroom was well illuminated, marble/tile and... more

I had the occasion to stay at Presidente for one week on business. Monterrey, while the third largest city in Mexico, is not what one would consider a tourist destination, and to a large degree, this is reflected in the hotel's amenities, or lack thereof. If your experience of Mexico is the luxe resort in a tourist destination, then you... more
