Stay for 4 nights in 1152. Clean but old. Shower was similar to the water you would receive if you punched a screw driver through your eavestrough on a rainy day. Called Maintenance twice, got two new shower heads installed. Actually ran into maintenance guy in my room the second time. He explained " no preassure" thats why shower works... more

Not as it used to be. I came here 4 years ago and it was a nice hotel. Since then, nothing has been upgraded... the same door that I remember to have noticed 4 years ago to lock very badly has not been repaired. The rooms are nice, but tired, and not soundproofed at all ! They tend to let... more

First of all I had requested a king size bed and when I arrived I was told by the receptionist that this hotel had no king size beds and no rollaway beds, I then requested a crib but I was told the person who had the key was not there I had to wait until the following day, there is... more

Stayed here for two nights for business. Never again. Dark and dingy feel--very outdated with overly ornate rugs/wallpaper and brass fixtures. Needs a major facelift. Rooms are HUGE but not very nice--I feel dirty walking on the old carpet and taking a shower is a less than pleasant feeling. No bugs or anything like that, just...yuck. Stayed on 11th floor... more

I was looking for a hotel with a nice pool to spend the weekend and the pool area at the Sheraton Ambassador was disappointing. The area appears much smaller in person than in the pictures on the hotel website. It needs to be updated and there were many kids in the pool being noisy and splashing me. There is a... more

I stayed here once before but only for a night and I think I made a mistake coming back. The hotel has very fancy but dated decor, its very dirty and noisy from neighboring rooms. I changed rooms (6 the to 11th floor) once and found the same issues. The most aggrevating being broken bath fixtures. Taking a shower was... more

This Sheraton is at the bottom of my list. I stayed as a starwoods gold guest for $108 on the 11th (top) floor. Room was huge with a mini bar, king bed, couch, ottoman, office desk etc. Bathroom floor needed mopped and the glass window needed windexed as there were palm and finger prints everywhere on the glass. Pool was... more

I stayed a couple days at the Sheraton for a business trip back in '07. Service was average and so were the room amenities. Expect to pay for "additional" services like internet and parking (it will add up). Location is ok as it is in the downtown area. Bathroom fixtures and shower needed some repair. The safe in the room... more

I just happened to stay here for a few days and felt very comfortable. It was within close walking distance of shoppin and Old Monterrey where you can dine and go clubbing. The room was spacious, cold, and very clean. The recepction area was beautiful, the only problem I had was with a reception lady who showed a little attitude... more
