My husband and I had to come to Ciudad Juarez for business. I had booked a room at the Hoilday Inn Express, but I stumbled upon a website and forum that recommended Los Cedros Hotel Inn. We were going with an American hotel chain, because we did not know what to expect with the local hotels.

I was going to call and make the reservation, but the forum also recommended a taxi company, in which the driver could get an additional discount at the hotel. Well, I contacted the driver, and he stated he would make the reservation, and we would receive an additional 10 percent discount through him. The night before our arrival, I confirmed that the reservation with the driver and we were all set.

Our flight was a little late arriving, yet the driver was at the airport waiting as planned. He brought us to the hotel, and we checked in. We paid cash, although they do take credit cards.
