I second the last reviewers words. The place is very unique and the entire grounds seems to serve as a giant canvas for Sol and her staff to create a work of art. Sol is also very creative with the food preparation and service, using only the best ingredients she can grow or buy. Tasty, but watch out for the... More

Highly recommend this place! It's a fairly large property consisting of the main building where the dining room is, and numerous guest cabins, located about 4 kilometers out of San Juanito, just off the road towards Basaseachic waterfall. All the cabins are brick and timber, very rustic, and each with a fireplace. The owner Sol furnished all the buildings with... More

I had the pleasure to visit this unique spot on a trip through the Copper Canyon. Noritari was definitely a treat to visit. Lauro and Sol, the owners, were wonderful hosts and truly remarkable people. The food was fresh and fabulous. Their place is hidden just outside of San Juanito. These comfortable, solar-powered cabins are a great place to get-away... More

What a surprise this place was! The owners are as delightful as their lovely lodge, which is brimming with colorful and unique arts and crafts. Sol prepares the most exquisitely delicious food and has an excellent selection of beer, wine and alcohol -- but if you're a caffeine junkie, like I am, come prepared with your own stash of instant,... We spent a delightful afternoon and evening at this wonderful compound near Creel Chihuahua in the Sierra Tarahumaras as a stop during our eleven day guided tour through the Copper Canyon area of Mexico. After being greeted by the charming owner and served hot spiced cider, we dropped our luggage at our cabins which were rustic, warmly decorated and very... More

I spent three nights with my two children in the Cabanas Noritari, a clean place with all the advantages of the Sierra Tarahumara (in the middle of the woods) and none of its disadvantages (crowded and noisy hotels in Creel, about 30 miles away). In fact, I was looking for an alternative to hotels in Creel because they were too... More
