The rooms at this hotel are ok in size but it does need urgent REMODELATION. All furniture in the room are old and scratched. It also needs better cleanig specially the bathroom. There was hair on the floor and shower area. Breakfast is ok. For my next visit to chihuahua I will for sure choose another hotel .

After our travel agent decided to move our group from the Soberano (former westin) to save $23 per room I was really expecting the worst... This is no where near a 5 star hotel, maybe 2 1/2... As mentioned before the carpets are absolutely gross! After decicing that the AC window unit was so noisy and not worth trading for... More

The Sicomoro is badly run and the management seems disinterested in doing better. The common area carpets, which have the Sycamore Tree theme (Sicomoro in Spanish) are filthy. They should be cleaned on a routine basis - part of the difficulty is likely that since there are no elevators, getting efficient machines to use to clean the carpets would be... More

This is a nice hotel, but each time I've been there, I've needed a GPS. It's really hard to get to your room, because the hotel is a labyrinth, and there is no bell boy to lead you. We booked a room for four, but find only two towels. At the front desk we were told that rooms were supposed... More

Sicomoro Hotel can best be described as sad. The entrance makes the hotel look like some sort of monument to the city. It actually makes you feel small. But once inside much is disappointing. It's incredible that I was told that this was the typical hotel for events and that even the Chihuahua Cattlemen's Association met there every year. Well... More

The Sicomoro was a pleasant surprise after a long bus ride. The rooms are modern and clean. The bathroom rates a 5 star. Staff is helpful. Dinner in the restaurant varied from ok to excellent depending on your choice but fast food restaurants predominate in this area so there was nothing better to walk to. Not in downtown but next... The Hotel Sicomoro ( Sycamore ) is a very good place to stay at while visiting this wonderful City. It is the unofficial Hotel for the Chihuahua Cattleman´s Association, the Union Ganadera de Chihuahua. It is located a little way outside of downtown, but very close to many good restaurants and attractions. The rooms are very clean and priced good... More

I stayed at Sicomoro for two nights while on a business trip. The two nights were not consecutive, so I got two different rooms. This hotel is an older property where the rooms do not appear to have been renovated for a long time. Neither room I got was sufficiently clean (hair, dust, and lint were everywhere). The carpets had... More

We stayed in this hotel 1 night and did not get any sleep. We ended up on the second floor with really loud and heavy smokers next to us. It didnt quiet down until about 2:30 am. There were people coming in and out constantly, noise in the halls. It does require a makeover and better lighting at night. Breakfast... More

I travel to Chihuahua fairly often and tried the Sicomoro for the first time. It's cheaper than the some of the run-down, but more expensive, hotels near the city center. It's only 6-7 minutes to the plaza by car, though. The room amenties are above average, the resturant has a bland atmosphere but good food, and there is little outside... More
