We stayed in Palacio Del Sol for one night on a bed and breakfast basis. Check in and check out were done quickly and efficiently The room was spacious and comfortable and we had good views over the city. The bathroom was also of a good standard The breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of freshly cooked food All... more

We stayed here as part of a tour package. I noticed that previous reviews were mixed. Our experience was as well. The hotel, while renovated a couple years ago, is showing its age. The room was sizable and on the 15th floor with a lovely view of the city. It was decorated with ornate draperies and furnishing. Good internet connection... more

huge old fashioned luxury style rooms - good location and great views of chihuahua town if on a higher floor. room service limited. staff appalling when we stayed there - very un-professional and unhelpful following a late arrival and no help with transfers - after a formal complaint was made to the manager an apology was received however it was... more

This hotel was included as part of a 8-day package from El Paso, Texas through Mexico's Copper Canyon and back. The property wasn’t too bad, just a few details that spoiled it. One being the dirtiest windows we’ve ever seen in our travels. But, it served the purpose. Our stay was for two nights, breakfasts were buffet with ample hot... more

We checked into this hotel at midnight after getting off the Chihuahua Pacifico train. I was so tired that it was going to have to be bad to make me complain! The room was very big, two queen sized beds, and the bathroom was large and clean. It was really quiet too which was a huge bonus. On pulling down... more

This hotel has recently undergone extensive updating. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the bathrooms are great. There is filtered water at the tap. Free internet service is available to the guests. We were traveling with a tour group and found this location to be perfect for walking to most of the major "old town" tourist sites. We... more

Chihuahua is growing at fantastic speed toward the north west, carrying the fancy newer construction with it, and the ‘old town’ civic center is now considered somewhat dowdy. This makes the older but still modern high-rise Palacio del Sol a smart and less expensive choice as a nice hotel within walking distance of many of the civic center’s significant buildings... more

We stayed here for two nights, and unlike the other reviewers found no fault with the hotel. The hotel staff was very nice. When I couldn't access Hotmail on their internet one evening, they didn't charge anything for the time that I spent on other websites. They had the Hotmail problem fixed by the following day. The hotel was in... more

After a wonderful trip to the copper canyon with caravan tours, we stayed at this hotel as the last stop on our tour for two nights. This is a tall, modern, "Holiday Inn" kind of hotel in the middle of the downtown area. I am assuming this is why we were placed here so we could be close to everything,... more
