My sister and I stayed here recently and had a wonderful time! The hotel is a little out-of-the-way, but that's probably what you are looking for if you come to Todos Santos. It's very easy to find by following the road signs. The hotel is beautiful and gets the mix of rustic and posh just right. Our room was spacious... More

My husband and I stayed here for six nights on our honeymoon – we wanted to stay somewhere off the beaten path, that was beautiful, quiet, relaxing...as well as somewhere that had good food and drinks should we not want to venture out. (The food was so good we ate at the restaurant [El Gusto] every night we could but... More

We have been visiting this boutique hotel for around ten years, and each time it seems to get even better. The beauty of the property is breathtaking. The owners have taken an open area by a lagoon and five minutes from a huge, almost empty beach, and created a paradise. One of the owners is an artist, and the whole... More

Do not believe the welcoming signs pointing you down 3 K of bad dirt road. We wanted to check out the place for a future vacation. We never got further than the locked gate and a young man behind the bars. We asked to see the place, both hotel and restaurant but apparently two mid sixties couples posed too much... More

Thank you for your time to write about your experience. We are very sorry for having hurt your feelings. We were not aware that refusing a free tour on our property without consumption will have that strong effect. We gladly show our property to our guests who enjoy a meal in our restaurant, but hardly find the time to offer... More

Our group of 7 women enjoyed a too brief 5 nights at this beautiful resort. We had booked four rooms and thus had the opportunity to visit the second floor rooms with beautiful views and the ground floor rooms with patios, hot tubs and lovely garden access. Juerg and Libusche were warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful. We found the three... More

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at La Poza last week (our 4th visit). Our arrival was, however, marred by a strange incident with a rude woman (apparently named Carla, author of the hotel's only negative review) who, fortunately, was not staying there. As our party of six was being greeted by Juerg, the owner, a motorcycle pulled up outside... More

I really enjoyed staying at Posada la Poza and would return without blinking if I go back to Todos Santos. We stayed at the honeymoon suite and it was splendid. The room was ample, the bed was comfortable, the balcony was spacious, and the view was spectacular. As others have said, Posada la Poza is an oasis where you’ll find... More

Owner was a conplete arrogant jerk. We stopped by following a referral from a fellow traveller, and since it was Easter Sunday they were sold out. He was greeting other guests when we arrived and that clearly annoyed him as he rolled his eyes when we asked if he could refer us to another hotel. But instead of referring some... More

Dear tripadvisor reader who just has read a review by “Carla”, I would like to give you my impression of the incident. I am the proud owner and the person who was receiving a group of 3 couples who returned to Posada La Poza for the 5th time. Standing at the entrance with our arriving guests, an old and noisy... The property was so pleasant, the gardens were so charming and created the perfect setting. The staff were really great, so warm and welcoming. We went into town a few nights for dinner but the dinner at the hotel was very nice and we ate there often. The beach was a short walk away and beautiful empty beaches for miles.... More

Okay so we've been married a while but after all the travelling for whale watching we thought we'd treat ourselves! Small hotel but with beAutifully decorated and presented room, absolutely loved it. Beautiful garden and pool area,. Loved the whale deck for cocktails and sundowners, the sunsets are to die for. The hotel is near to a lagoon and you... More
