We had a wonderful, relaxing time at La Poza last week (our 4th visit). Our arrival was, however, marred by a strange incident with a rude woman (apparently named Carla, author of the hotel's only negative review) who, fortunately, was not staying there. As our party of six was being greeted by Juerg, the owner, a motorcycle pulled up outside... More

I really enjoyed staying at Posada la Poza and would return without blinking if I go back to Todos Santos. We stayed at the honeymoon suite and it was splendid. The room was ample, the bed was comfortable, the balcony was spacious, and the view was spectacular. As others have said, Posada la Poza is an oasis where you’ll find... More

Owner was a conplete arrogant jerk. We stopped by following a referral from a fellow traveller, and since it was Easter Sunday they were sold out. He was greeting other guests when we arrived and that clearly annoyed him as he rolled his eyes when we asked if he could refer us to another hotel. But instead of referring some... More

Dear tripadvisor reader who just has read a review by “Carla”, I would like to give you my impression of the incident. I am the proud owner and the person who was receiving a group of 3 couples who returned to Posada La Poza for the 5th time. Standing at the entrance with our arriving guests, an old and noisy... The property was so pleasant, the gardens were so charming and created the perfect setting. The staff were really great, so warm and welcoming. We went into town a few nights for dinner but the dinner at the hotel was very nice and we ate there often. The beach was a short walk away and beautiful empty beaches for miles.... More

Okay so we've been married a while but after all the travelling for whale watching we thought we'd treat ourselves! Small hotel but with beAutifully decorated and presented room, absolutely loved it. Beautiful garden and pool area,. Loved the whale deck for cocktails and sundowners, the sunsets are to die for. The hotel is near to a lagoon and you... More

Turn off the paved road at the blue sign with the orange arrow and you'll find yourself on a dirt, rutted road that wiggles its way towards the sea. The adventure begins! Past local's houses, small markets, playground, houses under construction and all sorts of dogs laying in a spot of shade here and there, the blue sign with the... More

We so enjoyed our three night stay here, it is the most charming and delightful place. Our room was beautiful, very spacious with a sitting area and beautifully decorated and furnished. Bathroom with vibrant Mexican tiles, a shower and the biggest bath I have ever seen! A large private roof terrace with hammock, loungers and table and chairs where we... More

We had the most wonderful three days at this charming and we'll run boutique hotel in Todos Santos. Excellent home cooked breads and delicious meals were served with charm and efficiency. The owners and staff couldn't have been kinder. All the rooms are set within the beautiful garden and charming poolside area with birds all around. A real find and... More

We were staying in La Paz and decided to make a day trip and drive to Todo Santos to take in the art galleries and have lunch. Posada La Poza is not in the centre of town so use your GPS to get you there! The owners have done a superb job of creating this unique space right on the... More

I had taken a seven-day cruise in the Sea of Cortés, mainly for nature observation (snorkeling with fish and baby sea lions, whale and bird watching, kayaking, etc., and wanted to unwind on land for a few days before heading home. I had seen the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor for this hotel and thought it would be perfect. It was.... More
