I have stayed here twice in the past two months. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and clean. The food is very good and the bar is friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The Palacio Azteca Hotel is one of the better places to stay in Tijuana. The rooms are clean and well equipped with free Wifi, flatscreen TV with dish, comfortable beds, closets, and toiletries. There is free valet parking, a fully stocked bar and restaurant off of the lobby, a swimming pool, and elevator service to seven floors of rooms. Across... More

For sure ive stayed in real 5 star hotels in mexico, but this one isnt it. The rooms are really small and noisy, because of the big streets arround it. I coudnt sleep there well. Besides. The showers didnt work well. The restaurant is very expensive and also not good. Dont spend 14 dollars for the breakfast. The first and... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your time and feedback. We deeply regret that our rooms (with double glazed windows facing the street), were not to your satisfaction. Also, that the price (160 pesos; less than $12 with tax) of our 36-item buffet, plus cook-to-order egg/quesadilla bar, fresh juice bar, and desserts, seemed excessive. Our greatest regret is your decision not... More

First rate Hotel - friendly staff- very nicely appointed rooms & facilities. Right up there with Marriott ! Right downtown near action. ONLY issue was traffic noise but we were on a busy street too. Lots of business travelers & a few families. Most all staff spoke English but I was able to practice my Spanish & did just fine!

This was the the first time I stayed at this hotel. Check-in was pretty smooth and only took 3 minutes. I requested a room on the the 6th floor, and that request was honored even though it was a busy Easter weekend with lots of guests. I found the room to be pretty clean, and had the regular amenities -... More

We spent the night at this hotel before flying to Puerto Vallarta. The restaurant was very nice, the noise outside the hotel was loud. We returned the next week planning to spend another night befor driving back to Ensenada. We had made a reservation during our first visit. When we called for an airport pick up (our car had been... Tired and very average. Was in an elevator a few times when it stopped for a while between floors. Pool had many leaves and bugs floating on top. Not close at all to border crossing, but it is close to some good restaurants and the cultural district. Nobody at front desk spoke English when I arrived. You could do (much)... More

I like the hotel and have stayed here 6 times. All have been on the back side of the 6th floor until last week. All have been reasonably quiet except this last time on the 4th floor. The street is a major one-way arterial with traffic, sirens, etc. On the 6th floor, the sound escapes and isn't bad. On the... More

Tijuana is the current hotbed of food and beverage and this hotel is centrally located. Walking distance to Tacos Kokopelli (Awesome Food and Great Beers and Pulque) and Das Cortez (Great Coffee), also a short drive to Avenida Revolucion, the Gastronomy district . Currently all rooms are being upgraded as well as all facilities. Had some small mishaps this past... More
